I admire you seem to have a never ending well (I know it I the world around us 😉 )of ideas on teaching us to sketch! Presenting the ideas, sharing your process and letting us feel the absolute joy of sketching without striving for perfection - it is just mind blowing. Through your great courses (Thank you for all of them!) I start experiencing this joy of playing around. I hope I will loosen up with my colours (also more intense colors) so mixed media will have to wait...

I find I must start the sketch with pencil first, then go over that with a fine line pen. I'm quite old and my lines ate a bit shaky and uneven. Nevertheless, I'm thoroughly enjoying all of your wonderful tutorials!

WOW. I started this having no idea what I was doing, but before long I was really INTO it, using supplies that I had squirrelled away - I used everything you suggested and it was great fun!! You are so good at encouraging us to be free and go for it - no worries about mistakes. That is how I find I am happiest with what I do. Great instruction. Loads of ideas. I will be doing this again - the hardest part was waiting for the paint to dry! Thanks, Toby!!

Great tutorial! One thing I've taken from your videos is that I really need to work on making my line work much more loose. I know you referenced it in another video, but I have the awful tendency to go over a line multiple times...making it look super stiff and, well, just amateurish. Any ideas on _how_ to loosen up you may have would be much appreciated! Thanks from New Mexico!

I have a question, why always justify our art, cuz art which is beautiful looks beautiful, not like -" How I do art, and I feel " , just what is good is always good
