Here I am swatching all of my blue inks - I'm surprised I have this many, since this is not a colour I reach for that often! But after doing these swatches, I hope to use at least 1 or 2 of these every month to help get this number down! Which is your favourite out of this lot?

You could also do a month with all blues, they look so varied. Or maybe blue and another colour, just to give a little extra variety. I really like the Freshwater Bog and Storied Blue. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Karyna, a big compliment on your whole filming setup 👌Because I have a few of the same blues that I compare how they look in your video, I can imagine how the others will look. My fav are „dirty“ blues (I call them so)like shin-kai or waterman mysterious blue. I can’t love the kon peki and R. Oster fire and ice yet… perhaps in the summer time ☺️

My favorites are the Robert Oster Australis Hydra and the Vinta Perigrino. Between the two, my favorite is the Vinta Perigrino. It makes my heart sing! Lisa

Such pretty blues. I too am drawn to the dusty or muted blues myself. Well dusty/muted colors in general.

FWP Storied blue is maybe my favorite ink for daily writing, I use it to take notes at school and it works surprisingly well in my standard grid paper spiral notebook. I laughed when you kept saying you didn't need a bottle of it, I initially felt the same before caving and now when that bottle runs out I know I'll order another!

I like the Birmingham Pen Company Heron. The only downside to BPC is the inability to get sanples. The bottles are economical enough that it's no big deal to buy them, but I am out of room for more ink bottles and then some. I do have a number of BPC inks all snug in a utility tray where they fit perfectly, but there's no more room at the inn.

I love the color of Celadon Cat but I found it a little too light and dry. It would be nice if BPC offered samples. I don't like to purchase full bottles without trying a sample first. I really enjoy your ink swatching videos. 😀

Lovely blues/teals… I have Celadon Cat and it is too pale for me. I have Pilot Shin Kai and love it. I have FWP Stroke of Midnight which is lovely. Of all yours I would love to be able to buy Birmingham Pen co Heron, but sadly they do not seem to be available here in the UK. I would love to see a comparison of that with other brands of ink to see if there is anything similar which I can buy over here….or do you have any recommendations maybe? I love that there are so many blues, …there used to be blue and blue/black! 🤪

Celadon Cat looks green to me. So does Heron, Bliss, Upon a Star, Dusk in Blue and Storied Blue. Molten Tin is purple/grey and I like it. Colourverse inks are pretty but waaaaaay too light to write with for my taste. So are a lot of Wearingeul inks. The Sailor Agave is grey not blue to me. Now Freshwater Bog, Azul Frida and Peregrino are BLUE! :)

@@KarynaLovesToPlan Papers make such a huge difference. Eyes are amazing thingsand so different. I willwualify by saying I have some colour blindness so that does affect my perceptions.
