Irish drill is not a separate genre to UK drill, an accent isn’t enough to make it a separate genre. However I do get what he’s saying about it’s confusing when you hear Irish rappers with English accents. Drill for me is about rapping about your background and life in your area, so it definitely takes away the authenticity of it when they put on fake accents, even though it doesn’t hamper the quality of music.

Both cultures are a bit similar so the lyrics will be a bit similar as opposed to Chicago drill or South African drill.

Not necessarily - if you're passionate about it then it doesn't even feel like work. You have to love it though, and like fumez said - if you're making music with the intention of getting rich it likely won't happen for you, but if you're making it for the love of the craft and the rush of the crowd shouting your lyrics when you're on stage then tge money will come eventually.
