Hey Zack! I'm a Inkling main, and I know you like them as much as me (Splatoon is the series I started on with you) So here are some ideas for you. 1: Start with a Charge splatbomb, close the distance and roll them over then hit with a charged splatbrush. 2: Weapons are cool but best just to throw them. Inkling has a great base kit. 3: Keep watch on your ink, Killer Wail is a great chance to fill up. 4: Your up Smash is great charge up but has a shorter range then you might expect. 5: Ink charge (and dash) can go under many projectile.

The story mode has conditions on every battle making the battle somewhat represent what spirit you are freeing from the battle (aka like wario/wheezing where the stage was covered in gas as if wario was wheezing and producing it)

Tip: when a squid (on inkling) you can move around a LOT faster Tip: inklings are best played off the stage, cause you can get back on it really fast.

When your opponent is in the air past the edge use down A while above your enemy. This is called a spike.

TIPS:if you ink opponents with the inkling there'll take more damage from attacks you can actually ran out of ink and in order to charge up your ink press the shield button and the B button at the same time to recharge your ink

The only thing that you can bring from outside World of Light in are spirits. Those are synched through your entire save.

Hey im only like half way through the video so I don't know if you've found this already but, im pretty sure you can refill your ink by sheilding. You turn into a squid and fill back up just like in Splatoon. I think it fills faster if you do this in your own ink. Also, the more you ink someone, or the more of your ink they have on them, the more weak they are to your attack. Hope this helps, love your videos! (Edit) lol you just checked you move list, and it isn't sheild🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂😂
