Ever since I moved to Linux, my love for Inkscape becomes stronger every day. Even though I mostly work with raster graphics for album covers, poster design etc., I have managed to integrate it to my workflow, it's really capable and intuitive. Obviously not as intuitive as Adobe Illustrator or Affinity Designer, but I genuinely appreciate all the hard work the Inkscape team has put in.

This video is terribly useful! I’ve watched a lot of videos that go so fast that you can’t see what they’re doing. Yours is very clear and detailed. I bought an embroidery machine and need a way to make text and other designs to transfer to vp3 format. I stumbled onto inksense and inkstitch but couldn’t figure out how to use them. This video of yours is a great start. Thank you.

This is great, thank you! Now for a dilemma, I'm left-handed and have a Mac and the control key (which is used so much!) is on the left of the keyboard, what do I do? Can I move the key??

Thanks you for this video, Nick! This is the best introducing guide to Inkscape! Does anyone know how to create an yin yang without shape builder tool? Unfortunately, i have to use Inkscape 1.0 and it seems the version doesn’t have the tool. Thank you all in advance.
