i really appericiate your video, as a student i couldn't afford to use photoshop and used inkscape instead. Lately i've been interested in poster making but only done withh canva😭😭, saw your video and i'm hoping to be able to create poster on inkscape, tysm for this vid seriously🙌🏼🙌🏼

But the example had the lifeguard box seperated into horizontal lines. Hmmm was really hoping to learn that part.

my inkscape crashes everytime i push apply during the trace bitmap @ 2:56 do you know how i can fix that?

Let's fix this. Most common problem with Trace Bitmap is the original image size. Is the source image large? Try scaling it down to something around 8MB or less before you bring it in to Inkscape. Inkscape crashes if photo is too big because it has to create thousands of nodes when Trace Bitmap is applied. Can you let me know if this works?
