It's not like we still enjoy this madman over 50 years after he introduced his twisted songs to us impressionable children. Now we're all crazy! 😵💫

We even got a credit roll as a bonus on top of all that greatness.

Alice Cooper, Deep Purple and Steppenwolf were just about the only bands I listened to in the early 70s. None of that folk jive for me. (:

As Simon Cowell might opine, “Interesting. But a little bit self-indulgent, don’t you think?” (That was pretty funny when Adam Lambert did that harmonic minor version of a Johnny Cash song. I thought it was really good but Adam can be a bit theatrical at times.)

This is the most demonic Alice ever looked

Ironically, as time goes on, the more this song is proving to be correct.

Damn, Alice looks terribly unhealthy at this point. Glad he was able to eventually kick his bad habits and is still entertaining us. A true American original!

You ever see "The Strange Case Of Alice Cooper" concert film? He looked like he was about to die in that! So thin. Really scary look as it was real! But as you say he came back from the brink of the abyss and we are all lucky he is still with us making great music!

So this is what put Randy Rhoads into a trance when his brother took him to his very first rock concert. interesting

Nah that was the original band, I think the Billion Dollar Babies tour. Would have to ask his brother Kelly what year, but I think that was it. This is later solo Alice Cooper.

Yep, we're all crazy! Hahaha. He's one unique individual. My older brother was into him in the earlier 70s. Me, not so much.

The Alice Cooper "band" was great. I think that's the only time Alice did TMS was in 1979.
@henryhoward83419 ай бұрын
Still wish Alice hadn't discarded the original band in 1974 to go solo. I didn't like his late 70s-early 80s releases. The saving grace of this version of his solo band is Davey Johnstone (Elton John) on guitar.
@JQ127-c4e9 ай бұрын
Absolutely! This is good but can't compare to the original band. Not even close.
@henryhoward83419 ай бұрын
@@JQ127-c4e Yep. The original band was a true band. Alice would have been nothing without them. But he became a puppet of producer Bob Ezrin. In turn, became a parody of his former self. Becoming the PG Alice. Even appeared on the Muppet Show.
@shyman999 ай бұрын
"Muscle Of Love" barely made a dent in 1974 and it was time for Alice to break away and take it to the next level before getting stuck in a rut. One great album after another ensued, starting with "Welcome To My Nightmare". The Alice Cooper Group served their time well. But they went as far as they could. Alice still tours to sold out audiences to this day. Bob Ezrin is a considered one of the best producers in rock n roll history. Your message is a tired one.
@JQ127-c4e9 ай бұрын
@shyman99 No yours is. Much as I respect AC he never came close to the magic of the original Alice Cooper band. Lots of musical acts tour and sell out shows years after their heyday-so what. Alice became a parody of himself.
