@@jeffrey5976 From what I have seen in the last two nintendo indie presentations the game got no more than a few seconds in a montage.

The only negative thing about this game for me is it doesn't let you fight the creature in the end but it looked epic anw. I really like the theme and I was very intrigued by the story of the girl even though you dont do much with her. I was afraid it wouldn't make sense in the end but it all connects brillianty. That was a good spoiler free review. Thank you for reviewing this and gleamlight :)

I was interested when I first saw it, pleasantly surprised by it coming to Switch soon after that, and was browsing Deku Deals when the current sale went live, so I bought it even before I got the notification from Deku Deals. It's Little Nightmares 2 combined with the love for pixel art from Eastward and Wargroove. Which, together with games like Carrion and The Wild at Heart are some of my favourite modern classics that truly show some love for the art of the interactive entertainment medium, with its own story to tell and a variety of feelings both in the story and the gameplay. Definitely straight up there in my list of favourite (recent) gaming experiences (and I think it will remain quite high over time as well).

@@IDreamofIndie Yeah, much more, better, and easier accessible information than the actual eshop, and with direct links to the games on the eshop as well. I mean, I get the restrictions on the eshop (not just that the Switch itself must be able to run it with a game actively paused, but that it's bad for sales to have a price history that says it's been cheaper before several times, or that tells you that that one game you got on the last sale is now even cheaper, you should have waited), but I also like to browse starting from the lowest prices, and only see the games that are at the cheapest they've ever been. I'm more than happy to admit that I'm a "cheapskate", and not a hoarder with a backlog for years and an addiction to buy more than I actually play. That's a past version of me, and I'm glad it's in the past :D
