Inmotion V11 VS V11Y should you upgrade to this new model? After reviewing so many electric unicycles in my life and after having ridden the Inmotion V11 for so many years, having sold my first Inmotion V11, having gotten another one and now getting a new Inmotion V11Y, it is time to talk about one of the most requested videos a video that we talk about this fight between this two pev and personal electric mobility electric unicycles that many of you guys are considering. Looks like a pretty solid upgrade! Amazing how much of a difference the offroad tire makes, the wheel just looks like a street wheel anyways to me so makes sense. Great video dude!

My v11y: speed limit 50km/h, avarage speed:36km/h range: 57km and there is still 19% left in the battery

@@MADpack Yes. I was so glad to get back to 16" wheel. I missed my ACM16 so much 🙂. Less stable but much more maneuverable than the V11. And the famous "Gotway slide" at low speed is fantastic. Still the wheel has some drawbacks : heavy and large, with a very high center of gravity. But build quality is pretty incredible for a Gotway Wheel. She does so well in coutryside with the knobby tire.

Yeah last before wheel that I had at home was the before master a pile of pure garbage the worst wheel I ever try wouldn’t never buy it but it seems that they learn the lesson and they are making better wheels

No I personally prefer that the top one is lower per example I have 150psi on the bottom and 120psi on the top… but this to the v11y the v11 is a different subject

Man as a current v11 owner, the v11y is so tempting because i really love my v11, even if it is 4 years old, beat to hell, and the shocks have to be aired up every night, and seeing the upgraded form just seems like it would be amazing as well. However i really crave the speeds above 40 that the v11 just cannot do, so i believe ill be getting a patton as my next upgrade, however i will seriously be keeping this wheel in the back of my mind. Do you think the v11y shocks would transfer straight over to the OG v11? How about the motor, i know you said the wires are a bit better protected but do you think the motor would swap directly over as well? That would be a nice upgrade

Motor will be able to pass for sure the suspension inmotion says that doesn’t fit never try to be honest

@MADpack Excellent. I have a severly bent rim that im currently riding on and avoiding replacing the motor. I may look into the upgraded motor when i eventually decide to fix it properly, if that ever happens haha. Im tempted to just send it and buy the v11y shocks though

@MADpack i feel like as long as they used the same size outer body and just have a longer travel length it shouldn't affect how it works. Ill let you know if i decide to order them soon enough

Is not going to happen. Inmotion decided to don’t send me that wheel so I will not be able to make my comparison of the v12 pro

I had one of these ordered through ewheels and inmotion kept standing up Jason. After a week had enough, upgraded to a Master v4 and yes it's huge, yes it's heavy and holy shit is it fast. but after hearing people are having speed issues. Also very little adoption across the board, happy I went with Begode.

Master was the worst wheel I ever test on the channel stopped working after riding it for 3 or 4 times. Never ride in rain because the top is open, broke the mud guard by grabbing the wheel and putting in my car when I pick it up to make the video. The wheel turn on by itself when I was on holiday had to open the top disconnect batteries and that was my experience with begode. Inmotion delayed because they found a hardware problem and they upgraded all wheels. I hope your begode master will last and that you will be happy with it in the future because been honest I don’t recommend to buy the master has you can understand by my experience

Also forgot to say when that happen to the wheel during my holiday my neighbour grave the wheel to put it out on the garden because I was scared it will explode inside my house and the handle broke. So a wheel that just come apart after only 4 rides :/

The latest v4 works quite well I've got well over 220 miles on mine in the past 3 months without issues, I'm familiar with the lack of water proofing, the lack of connected bms. dropped mine over 10 times and I just jump back on. The handle isn't made for picking up and neither is the mudguard. I've got grizzla on mine with handles

@jimskyboy2 I don’t find it acceptable a wheel been so badly produce in 2024 I would never had both the master but happy you are happy. And grizzla is a brand that I learn to don’t trust anymore :/ have a great day my friend and stay safe

Yes it have more :) you have more volts and is a smaller tire

Madpack, I have always liked your videos, but please stop making videos about the V11 and V11Y. These wheels are irrelevant now. No one is curious about them. You will do much better to talk about modern wheels.

Hi there. Thank you for your comment. Sad that you are not enjoying to see videos about the v11y but I completely disagree with you. What is a modern wheel? Is because it goes 60mph? Is a wheel with 136v modern? Because of it is you are missing the all market that need a lighter wheel and doesn’t have $4000 to spend. I just cover inmotion wheels on the channel because inmotion is the only company that cares about my community. If modern wheels are other brands unfortunately I believe that at this moment my channel is not for you :( have a great day and sorry if my channel doesn’t satisfy you anymore

i'd guess he's probably a fanboy of another company who can't accept that there is a better wheel that costs less than the one he got Well I appreciate these reviews myself, not everyone can spend $4000 on a first wheel🙃

I agree that a lot of us don’t have the money to purchase a $4000 wheel or even $1000 that’s why inmotion is sending me there entry level the e20 that is perfect to learn for years nothing like that was made

@@cheshire_ You'd guess wrong. I have always thought the V11 is overrated. I rode the S18 and the V11 when they came out. The S18 's suspension was way better. The V11 was a pogo stick that got more attention than it deserved. Now, years later, I don't think the V11 warrants any discussion at all.

@kmalph thank you for your comment I used to own the s18 and you know what I called? The most boring wheel I tested until that day. I respect your opinion but I can tell you the s18 was way better suspension but that’s it all the rest inferior… and now?! Forget the s18 is so much inferior than the v11y only of you say you like to jump in the woods go ahead but for the city? Such a slow and boring wheel
