V13 is living in the 2020s unlike other brands. I have a fast charger at 14amps and range is not a issue. Board quality matters and Inmotion soldering quality is next level.

This is the first comment of the V13’s range being okay. I like the V13’s options and I want it. How many miles can you get? I want at least 60 +miles of range for my wheels, can the V13 achieve that? Thanks

get about 35 miles of range when pushing it above 40-45mph the whole time. it supports 14A of fast charging and gets you back on the streets pretty quickly.

It does support fast charging. I often charge at 15.2 amps (which seems to be the upper limit).

Hi Sam i highly recommend 14A at 15 the wheel will usually disconnect and the BMS will reject it, Also its max 7A per side :)
@SamClegg
@SamClegg Жыл бұрын
@@EUCRAZY_AU I just kept trying higher amperages until I got disconnected. From experimentation 15 seems to hold without any disconnections.. 15.5 doesn't.. This is basically how I charge all my wheels when i want to charge fast. I just learn what the max is by experimenting. But maybe it's safer for some reason to stick with 14?
@TrungNguyenSquallLHeart
@TrungNguyenSquallLHeart Жыл бұрын
i've had the batteries actually start overheating charging it a 14.5-15A and where the BMS hasn't killed the current going to the ports yet... definitely can charge a bit quicker than 14A but the batteries definitely heat up a bit in doing so.

This was a splendid summary. The population of EUC models has exploded, where choosing a model for specific purposes have become daunting. As far as the V13, you shared range whoas. Comparing older models, where would the V13’s range fall? At a minimum range around the 16x or Nikola meets my needs. Lastly, the V13 is a engineering masterpiece. In your opinion, how could Inmotion drop the ball in range, when lesser brands create range in their sleep? Thanks

I heard a lot of negative comments about stock pedals, but for some reasons, I haven't had an issue with them yet. Maybe because I'm not an aggressive rider. I dunno. Some people change the pedal screws to grub screws which give better grip. Maybe try that before switching pedals. If you are okay with grub screws, you don't have to spend extra few hundred dollars for new pedals. About charging, V13 can be fast charged up to 14 amp. Stock charger is 5 amp.
@UStride
@UStride Жыл бұрын
The pedals is the problem not the grub screws or screws in general. The stock pedals don't encourage aggressive riding, handling or stability. The E-rides Pedals is a different beast altogether. If you're a casual rider you will feel the difference but it won't be of any use to you, since the purpose of performance pedals is to instill confidence while being aggressive.

Pedals are great if you add corse grip tape. Like others said 14a charging negates range anxiety. 2100 miles 0 issues never been stranded.

@@aforashish7 sorry to hear that. I’ve seen that some cities in India are passing legislation that prevents rickshaw drivers from accessing congested areas by requiring that all taxis (tuktuks?) to be capable of driving at least 25kph… seems like this is a way to promote internet Rideshare taxis to dominate the marketplace. Do you have any thoughts about whether electric unicycles could be used to prevent the destruction of the rickshaw puller’s livelihood?

imo master pro is not a good wheel overall. The only thing I can say is, It has a lot of range. So bang for the buck, master pro. Although commander pro is better than master pro in the most important category and its the greatest cruiser. Light sucks tho.

Good review but...a Begode? Not generally known for quality. Not yet anyway otherwise I would own one. For the price differences in 3 years time you can continue to count on Inmotion to supply you with parts whereas Begode will just discontinue the model and not supply you with parts making it very difficult to finding parts that make a long term investment in an Inmotion product more appealing. Perhaps Begode wants you to keep purchasing ewheels? 🤔In comparision to the Master sure Speed Is a great option to have but is it as important to you when your older and can possably shatter your hip, break a shin in a fall or any of the other countless accidents you see on Utube at less then 5 miles an hour where the rider is pleeding with you to please gear-up these are not toys. Probably not.... less so if your only planning to go as far as a nearest dog park but that's just an older mans opinion. My V13 is heavy,Yes✅️....it's stable,Yes✅️built for safety✅️and I can find parts for it in the future✅️. Checks all my Boxes.

I have yet to buy a new wheel because the value just isn’t there yet. Just got an MSP for $300 and a 16x for $700… these are good enough until the new wheels are developed that are designed to last 20+ years and have a parts supply chain that maximizes aftermarket compatibility. Whenever these companies design proprietary components that are incompatible with other wheels, I automatically reject them as I’m uninterested in businesses that design for planned obsolescence. The only proprietary part should be the software, everything else should maximize interoperability: meaning that customized configurations across models and manufacturers is possible. This would require a different corporate strategy but the slim profit margins on these wheels indicates that their current strategies are failing. {The S22pro and S19 are failures that we’d like to avoid in the future and are a direct result of inadequate risk analysis and have crippled KS for years to come.}

Msp for 300usd! Wow! Fantastic purchase considering it's such a good wheel. Just ensure it doesn't have the M50T cells. 16x also great allrounder. I have a similar situation. MSX84 and Tesla v1 with a 2.5in tire. I prefer the portability of these wheels and they're plenty fast and comfortable. 16in for shorter commutes and 19in for longer rides. Not bad. If I had to choose a single wheel it'd probably be a 16in with 3in tire and enough safety margin and range (for my body weight and need).
