DAY 3 - INMOTION V13
Hello
Thanks so much to everyone for the comments and time to watch my stuff.
Many new subscribers and it really helps me justify my time doing all this

Today was the first time I started to play with my suspension.
I adjusted the dampener slightly and discussed it.
Did my first stairs.
Hit 91kp/h (according to the app not GPS)
(This footage was not captured however the data is stored in my wheel log. It was on a private road under controlled conditions)
PLEASE REALLY GEAR UP - THESE SPEEDS TAKE THE RIGHT ENVIRONMENT AND SKILLS AND NOT CHEAP GEAR -
It is a great wheel, I have hardly started getting things sorted out but already it is a really really nice ride.

Those stairs at Roma St parklands (7:00) are good practice for non-suspension wheels - not too steep, not too shallow, nice and wide, and little landings between sets. Have been doing those daily commuting on a KS 18L since mid last year - I've been told it has a soft rim, but at 40PSI it's never bottomed out on stairs - if it works it works 😁 Hope ERiderz get the V12's back in stock soon - that'll be the next upgrade 💪

Hey gamemakerjunior, thanks for checking in. Roma st is a great place to roll i think, a few paths i’ve found are closed but this area with the stairs is great. There was a whole audience of folks up above enjoying the euc show. I think the v12 is a great wheel, also rumours of a new smaller inmotion v14 maybe, and the new rumoured 16” sherman. Lots of good choices

It's interesting hearing a local riders feedback and thoughts on the V13. It was the suspension on the Sherman S that pulled me away from the V13. My grizzla pads should be turning up this week for my sherman s. 😀 Then just need to wait for e-riderz to get my after-market pedals and seat. I somehow managed to miss place my stock seat in the first week 😔

The Sherman S is a fantastic wheel! (even without the stock seat) Congrats! I love my Grizzla pads and 8 am sure they help me a great deal with this big wheel. Aftermarket pedals are something gum also keen on for the V13, the stick pedals are ok but need more spikes. Cheers 09Bugg09

Love the play on words. Weight can definitely be a good thing. I appreciate all the real-time insights. The specifics of the settings still hurt my brain. One of these days it will all click hopefully. Cheers!

How is the dampener adjusted? The instructions seem a bit confusing. Any other setup adjustments? You mentioned putting chain lube on the rails - which rails? Thanks and stay safe!

Hey FL. Thanks for watching. The dampener settings are not really much help. I am still working it out and can only go off what I feel. I have tightened them all the way to the right, ONLY FINGER TIGHT (they may strip with a tool) once I had them both at the same tight place. I turned each side at the same time about 2/3 rotations anticlockwise. I am still learning and adjusting. I used just a little chain lube down where the suspension slides up and down to help lube the metal on metal slide. Seems ok for now, I’ll keep riding and see how it goes.

Thanks FL. Appreciate you watching mate. I’m super surprised with the tyre! Coming from the CST on my v11 I thought this V13 tyre would be harder to shift around. It’s ok, pretty good actually!! that’s at 40psi, nimble but still takes work. I think any street tyre would bring it to life and maybe increase range a little but not needed if you are pressed for choice. Enjoy!! it’s a real blast

For the bottom dampeners for the gap adjustment what is actually being adjusted? Is it visible?

wow so sorry I missed this comment. Still learning how to navigate KZfaq :/ There is a tiny little hole under the pedal hanger, it’s kind of hard to spot. It is close the the suspension rail (the side with the black cap) - I have maybe confused you… i’ll try to film it in a video. I’m sure you probably have it sorted by now. Sorry it took a while to find your comment.
