This Video presents the peal of Immaculate Conception-church in Innsbruck-Pradl /Tyrol.
The five bells were founded 1954 by Grassmayr/Innsbruck.

Those clapper-stopping devices are a great idea! Gives the bell operator full control of when each bell starts and stops ringing.

+St.Michaels Glocke Sowohl klanglich, wie auch von den Armaturen passt hier alles ganz gut zusammen. Das merkt man natürlich auch !

Beiträge von der Pradler Pfarrkirche hat man mittlerweile schon mehrere auf You Tube gesehen, nicht aber von den Glockenstuben! Wirklich eindrucksvoll, weil mich früher dieses schöne Grassmayrgeläute auf meinen Hausmeistertouren in der Defreggerstraße buchstäblich begleitet hat!

+alpen glocke die Aufnahme in der Glockenstube sind wirklich nicht einfach aufgrund sehr beengter Platzverhältnisse. Dafür ist das Geläut selbst umso schöner. Klanglich wie auch von der Ausstrahlung her ist das doch sehr weit oben einzuordnen.

Schön, eine wunderbare Koproduktion. ;-) Die Glocken gefallen mir sehr, ebenso das Knarschen des Glockenstuhls, sowas kennen wir nicht in Holland.

This Siren is installed near the bell tower. In Austria, all sirens are testes at 12 pm on Saturday.

It has to move otherwise it would break. As long as it does not hit the walls, all is safe for the bells to ring. This is what one calls bell ringing dynamics!

yes, wooden frames often do. Sometimes, especially in Britain, they'll attach the frame right onto and into the tower, because its important in change ringing, and other manual styles, that the bells aren't too difficult to handle or ring. Here, the bells are automated and it doesn't really matter.

Als es noch keine Bremsen an der Läutemaschinen gab und die Glocken nach dem Läuten nicht gebremst werden konnten waren die Klöppelfänger im Süddeutschen Sprachraum sehr weit verbreitet. Hier hat man auch früher die Klöppel schon mit dem Läuteseil gefangen, weil man das Ausläuten nicht so wirklich mochte. Da es jetzt aber Bremsen gibt hat man die Klöppelfänger in Deutschland bis 1985 praktisch überall ausgebaut. In Österreich hält man an der Tradition fest.

Those Sirens go off weekly, on Saturday, at 12 o clock noon, in each village and town, where they have a Fire Department. Its only a test in case of an Emergency

Was für ein schöner Klang! Ist es bei dieser Kirche üblich, dass zu erst die Tiefe Glocke erklingt und die hohen der Reihe nach zugeschaltet werden? Ich kenn das sonst eigentlich eher umgekehrt
