Wow - this guy is the best interviewer I've ever seen in my life. His questions were extremely well thought out and he always seemed to improvise new ones based upon Rob's answers. Really, really impressed. As a huge fan of Rob Thomas and Matchbox, thank you for the great interview

Rob Thomas is a brilliant empath who can articulate feelings in a way that speaks to your soul. I have been to many many of his concerts and each time I took someone who didn't want to be there...Each time my complaining guest would be as intensely drawn into the music as me by song three or four because of the way he performs with his whole heart and soul. You just can't help but go through the stories in his songs with him just by listening to them, but seeing and hearing him sing them live is indescribable really! Thank you for the video. Thank you Rob Thomas for so many of comfort through relating so well. Your ability to articulate and share your feelings is amazing. I lost that "along the way." After living as an empath with my own many tragedies, blessings, violations, surprises, after my life became for God, my sons and husband, and other loved ones and then after my mom died at 47, I forgot how to share me. We used to share our feelings through music with each other and elaborate with our own metaphors. That's okay, I can still dance like know ones watching, sing like no one's listening and love like I have been hurt before and I never want to cause hurt to anyone else. Anyway it's nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks they think too much, know too much but not enough. I'm not the only one who has "heard that silence, (the) God awful sound...", had "a long day.", has a hand me down heart, feels "a little unwell," and is still happy to be blessed again each day that "I am one less day from dying young", so I can watch my grandson grow with a presence like I've only just re-learned from little empath him. My family tells me I should write a book about my eventful life, I'd rather write songs if I knew how. Love you and your wife much!!! Thank you for being a great example and inspiration both of you!

Rob Thomas… what a gifted, intelligent, well read, creative human being and performer. I enjoy him so much and have been a fan since the first album was released. He is so humble and down to earth, and shines his light on everyone, no grandstanding or patting himself on the back. As a song writer I believe he keeps improving his craft, even though it already sounds like perfection to my ears. Thank you Rob. You have touched my heart over and over again

@ThisisRobThomas his amazing! His music does touch the fans. I can relate to a lot of the songs and mad season was the anthem for my life until can't help me now came out at a very hard time in my life pieces I can just go on about his music forever but my aunt was with me through the shows. She is 76 now. Seen matchbox on this 2023 tour my daughter has been my sons have been now it's already to my grandchildren so the music started with me and my aunt as fans and now my 3-year-old grandson, my 8-year-old granddaughter, my 5-year-old grandson all love his music so he's out now at his age. I'm the same age my aunt. Probably her last show. I hope not but getting harder for her but he will see me in the audience with every generation of my family It's the songwriting, the voice, how much he puts into it and his love for his fans. So at 60 as he mentioned in the video, I'll still be there with grandkids lol and when he does sing he is related with the fans Matchbox 20 is so amazing! Rob is so amazing! This family we created as fans are so amazing but it started with them being so genuine. Not big headed and you can talk to them. Not like he's a big rock star. They are so down to earth. The biggest thing I've met Rob a lot more than the others. He's always took time to snap that picture or come and say hello or give me a nod while he's playing. So I feel connected that this person I'm paying to go see play actually cares about these fans that are here 100%. His fans are so great! We even started a group for his wife. Mari, during her illnesses it's like a big family and it started with the group to make it amazing for the fans

Just wanted to say, first I'm so very sorry about your Mom, I never knew my favorite song 3am was about such a heart wrenching time in your life. 3am is absolutely my favorite song that I relate to with all your Lyrics. I had a Brain Aneurysm in 2007, and we in the Aneurysm Groups talk about the rain all the time. My favorite part of that song is She thinks that happiness is a mat that sits on her doorway, but outside it stopped raining Amazing. Just truly Amazing because I truly feel that. We meaning my 3 Gorgeous Daughters and myself recently went to see you out in Camden on July 16, 2023. It was such an Amazing time for us as their Daddy was just diagnosed with Cancer and I was trying to give them a night out away from the trauma of dealing with their Daddy. It has been very extremely hard on them so I just wanted to give them a lil piece of Happy at such a very hard time. And it was such an Amazing time for us, we did everything that night so perfectly. My youngest daughter made all our tshirts for the event and each one had a favorite Lyric from one of your songs. Of course mine was without a doubt, she thinks that happiness is a mat that sits on her doorway. Thank you so much for such great memories for us, we had waited for that concert since 2020, and then in 2023 it finally happened, and for all of us it meant so much to us. You are such an amazing writer, we love you and will always continue to follow you. ❤️ you❤❤❤️😘😘😘😘

I know this much. Hes got the same Bday as my step dad hes a rat "zodiac" sign like my wife hes "metal"zodiac like me. It was my mom Inez who was a fan first remember CD's :) i still remember her singing into the center channel speaker in our living room. Now i do the same. We lost my mom to A.L.S 10 years ago Nov 28th. My Step dad lived "Diamonds" i cant watch the video to that song and the way he sings that song it helps to let go and sing while crying. Ive been singing his songs his way for so long that in my Karaoke fantasys in my head i like to think im doing his songs justice. But i know he sings and writes from his heart so i know he or his FANS love that i sing his songs as well as i possibly can. Im sure we all do the same thing when we sing his songs /;). Im 4 yrs 10 months sober from booze. I know his songs helped me along the way. Im now gettn a real good job soon better then what i do now. So i plan to start seeing him in concert. Hes touched so many of his fans. HE TRULY DOESN'T KNOW JUST HOW LEGANDARY HE TRULY IS. thats my dog moo moo rott Pitt/chihuahua papillon mix i raised on Ceaser Mullans teachings and hes a perfect dog. There are animal lovers then there folks like he and his wife that show and do not just talk about gettn behined a cause(s). I feel so lucky to be alive when he is to enjoy all he does. Happy 2019!!! To Rob his family(s) his band and his FANS!!!!
