Is anybody else fascinated by that "on break" wide shot? I thought it was actually really cool seeing the set up process.

I liked watching the setup process, too! It's not something I'm that interested in watching every time or anything, but being able to see it once was really cool!

It's a neat perspective, for sure! I guess it does take the place of the "Hey btw we have a store!" card that usually gets put up... Maybe they could alternate? I like the "On Break" view, but also I like seeing Beej be like "Hey, y'all remember Flunge?" 😂

As a Wisconsinite, hot dish is more of a Minnesotan thing than a Wisconsin thing. Not that it doesn't exist here, but we're definitely not the main perpetrators of it.

I really hope that fora PPR sometime soon, the LRR guys get Cardmarket to come to Canada. I'd love to see Wheeler mess with them by throwing in German cards.

Thoralf really is fun to watch. He doesn't do shenanigans as well as Carl, but he gets some really good digs in when he gets going. I loved his games with Andrea Mengucci.

Watching this the day after I played several Lost Caverns of Ixalan prereleases gives a lot of perspective on Magic design over the last decade. Innistrad feels so tame now in comparison. Lol

Damn I miss blocks. Way too many mechanics to learn now. I have to look up what’s in standard to even know what mechanics are around.

I liked the slow progression of mechanics as stuff evolved over the course of the block, but also the chance to linger in a setting for a while was really nice. Everything moves on so quickly these days.

Adam missed a few things this stream, in the first game he kept a 7-card hand despite mulligan-ing to 6, then later he sacrificed the full moon rise but then still killed the 5/5 with his 4/4. I don't like to make assumptions on no evidence but I figure he was probably just tired from the Subathon. Wild that nobody caught any of it though.
