I can concur this Innuos Statement has been one of my best upgrades I have done. I only listen with headphones now and I am blown away with what I am hearing. With this Statement it feels like Miles Davis “Kind of Blue “ is giving me a personal concert, or even like I was front row in the studio when the Album was made. I have a 110% vinyl only friend that nothing compares to it specially digital/cd’s until listened and couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He comes over and goes straight to my man cave and is in awe. When you start to get into high end audio everything matters just changing a cable can make your system go from ok to omg.. Looking forward to purchase a MSB DAC to complete my system. Using a Chord Dave/MScaler combo with a Woo WA33 Elite amp with upgraded KR HP tubes. Buying a house soon and will purchase speakers after I get my room setup. This Statement makes your digital 110% silent unless it’s already in the recording.

I agree some of the really exceptional server/streamers are amazing. PC based is awful. That said, I’ve compared the Zenith MkIII to Auralic and Naim. The latter 2 were noticeably better. Larger soundstage and more focused details, especially on instruments. It is my opinion the Innuous fails due to the restricted capabilities of the USB interface. You can do all the circuit isolation and clicking but when the output re bundles the data into a single bidirectional stream, you’ve lost much of your efforts toward maintaining circuit integrity. At the very least they should be offering a unidirectional signal path, AES/EBU, Coax and/or optical. Ideally jump on the I2S standard that maintains multiplex signal pathway through the port and wire, no rebundling and subsequent deciphering required.
