I started going to my local and both times a super strong Ino thwacks me. I'm not afraid of the match-up, I used to main Ino, but playing in person makes me so nervous.

talk to your opponent before the match starts, something easy like asking if they like pizza, break the concept that they are an enemy and that this is a real fight and your central nervous system will exit fight flight fend friend defend response, and you'll lose your nerves! humanise your opponent basically
