How would she go from point A to B without money for fare? If she walked out of her marriage, would she not at least carry her clothes, the phone, and the money for basic survival? My two cents: Whoever has her may have abducted her and has her locked up somewhere or killed her and buried her or disposed her of in, let's say, an unused well. No human can disappear off the face of the Earth without a trace.
