Agree. Too much on the walls does not make for a "relaxing" space, it's overdone. Not many people redecorate their rooms over and over like this, my husband would kill me. Men do not like change.

I would recommend switching the art above the commode and above the bed for a large format one instead of multiple. You already have two separate vignettes with two art frames on the bedroom and it makes it look too busy 🙏🏻💖 just a friendly suggestion ❤

I usually love everything you do but have a lot of questions. I think I preferred your paired back look, more negative space. I don’t understand the accent picture lamps above the mirrors which highlights bedside lamps. I want a bedroom to feel calm and inviting. I love your bed and caramel chair. One last item, I loved the look of the lighter drapes.

I love the room. But just a comment. I think it looks too much with the painting over the bed, the mirrors and then the paintings over the console table. Too many edges. Don’t you think ?

I think if you look at your walls you will notice almost all your art entering the bedroom and in your bedroom is the same shape and scale. I think less might be more for a bedroom.

You should see them at night! Having lights up higher brightens up the upper space without needing to turn on the overhead light. I keep them quite dim and they are stunning!

I love your whole room Valentina. My favourite part are the drapes and artwork hung high. I just moved into a smaller home and decided to take my antique four poster bed and bedside tables with me. I am going to try hanging drapes and artwork high as you have. I would love if you could teach us how to combine antique pieces with more modern. I’m willing to paint the pieces if that would help. My style is classic and elegant.

I like your bedroom. Yes, taking art up to the height of walls makes a big statement. I am currently converting my bathroom to a room that's actually designed, not just utilitarian. Art will play a big role as the ceiling is vaulted. I've lived with flat white walls for 25 years, and I'm having them painted soon. I also ordered accessories and art. I'm going black, gray, soft white, and some maple-carmel- like tones to tie in cabinetry that isn't getting painted. I LOVE the abstract artwork that will go up once the room is painted. I love to watch your channel because you remind me that we can make our house one where we love to live in, not just exist in. It's okay to spend a bit of money to decorate a space. I don't want to do it often due to the expense. However, I'm so excited to have a bathroom that feels good to be in, after so long with a builder-boring space. No big reno here, just bringing a sense of design to the space.

I’m finally purchasing my own home and it’s very small (NYC area, so it’s very expensive). I loved this video and will use many of your suggestions to make the principle bedroom feel larger like adding mirrors over the nightstands.

I think there are lots of squares in the room. I may not use so many in one room. I still cannot get used to picture frames being so close together. It just does not look right to my eyes. Is it just me?
