The Rose is such an awesome band, and it's hard NOT to fall down their rabbithole. Other MV's you could check out are their debut song "Sorry", "Time (live from Joshua Tree)", "Wonder" and "You're Beautiful". Also, if you are looking for another great Korean band, I recommend ONEWE. Songs to check out are "AuRoRa" , "Rain to Be" , "Gravity", "Montage_" and "Universe".

This song Alive was the gateway drug for me a few months ago. Their entire discography is amazing! The concert this month was even better!

The Rose is so unique, they cross genres, language and borders. I saw them in concert in Oct 2023 at at Coachella. They view music as a healing gift. I’m totally obsessed.

If you get into more Korean music Kpop or bands like The Rose you will realize that they like to blend genres a lot and don't usually stick to one style of music...this dupset beat drop was so out of no where I was actually worried how they were going to pull if off live but it was amazing! Seeing this song live was amazing. One of the best songs by The Rose as to lyrics would be Childhood My ult Kband is Onewe and I love how their songs progress and build, Yonghoon's vocals, Kanghyun's guitar, and poetic lyrics. Parting, AuRoRa, and Montage_ are good places to start. There are good Kbands out there. I also love Xdinary Heroes as well, they are more rock, some groups are more indie.

I think you need to react to Snooze by BTS’s Suga aka AgustD featuring Woosung of The Rose. If they are your two favorite Korean bands maybe you should see what it looks like when they work together.

It was thanks to the collaboration between suga of bts and the leader of the rose that i found the rose and fell in love with their music.

Honestly, the only two kpop bands I listen to endlessly are The Rose and Monsta X... particulary Monsta X's - newer music writing their own music "Gambler", "You Problem", "Love", "And", "Burning Up", "Sorry, I'm Not Sorry" (multiple genres) - old pure Korean songs "Jealousy", and "Alligator" They have one of the best rap duos in the industry imo. They are very different from The Rose and are closer to what you expect from a "kpop" group, but they still are very innovative with their song writing and lyrics.

Love The Rose and love your reaction. Alive is my favourite The Rose song. As for other K-bands. ONEWE are my favourite of all the bands and Aurora and Parting are my favourite songs. All their songs and covers are amazing though. XDINARY HEROES are another one that I really love. Good Enough and Enemy being two of my favourite songs from them and again all of their songs are awesome. All three bands have a no skip (for me) discography.

They are really talented and every single song is a good surprise. The bridge to the dubstep part in Alive was so unexpected and so well done ! And the way they come back into instumental is great too. You have to listen to Cosmo, they put some EDM (what is not my kind of music normally) and they did it pretty well... Not my favorite track from The Rose but it will certainly be a highlight in live.

I discovered The Rose through Suga's song " SNOOZE " collabs with Woosung. The Rose such an incredible band talented musicians, their songs superb. This summer I also discovered JROCK BAND " ONE OK ROCK " Japanese Please check some of their amazing songs are " Wonder, The Beginning, Wherever You Are, Wasted Night, Take What You Want, Renegade ( co-written with Ed Sheeran ) Stand Out Fit Your Tears Are Mine " Taka is the lead singer. When i recommended Alive to a friend I basically prefaced it with "the song seems chill at first, but don't turn it off until it's over because it's not just 'chill'" and that's this song in a nutshell. It's a good song that's just got a good vibe for easy listening, but it's not really OUTSTANDING in any way, however, but they did that on purpose to make the ending more impactful and that's what makes it great.

*walks in five months late with starbucks* they have a different vibe but another k-band I really like is Xdinary Heroes. They just had a full album comeback yesterday with a very emo-ish song called Little Things. There's also a rock-y soloist I adore called Woodz. His latest comeback is Amnesia, though it's from last year because he's currently off doing military service.

You check out "Strangers" from The Rose. it was a song in a soundtrack. it's much heavier in instruments, but also, woosung voice is very hunting. The show was a suspense triller show, so the song was perfect for the show. Recommend checking out the MV, which will show you clips of the show, and then the lyrics video Alive is one of my favorite songs from The Rose. It gives me a mix of Oasis and White stripes vibes. Regarding favorite bad 😏 you may want to hold that thought. Check out N Flying "Flowerwork" but react to the live video. Onewe "Aurora" the main vocalists, drummer and guitarist just feed of each other energy. If you can. Pick a favorite between these three bands you would become my favorite reaction channel. Because I can't, I seen all three of them live and I can't even explain the energy they ooze from stage.

I love The Rose. I went to their concert in October they are even better live than they are in videos. Im a BTS fan from way back, but frankly, I would choose the Rose over BTS. I also really like Enhypen. Try Enhypen Bite me, Sweet Venom there is an English version, but no video, and also Bills or Criminal Love.

Other than The Rose I also enjoy listening to Wave to Earth! They have more of a slow and mellow vibe. If u do check them out I recommend listening to Seasons, Light, and Homesick. I’m not sure if they would suit ur guys taste, but they’re great to listen to when u just want to close ur eyes and relax

So, for me, I can completely love both groups. They occupy two totally different spaces. Having listened to Korean music for years, I’ve settled on just a few that totally own my heart: 1)BTS (World Class Pop Stars that completely own my heart); 2) Epik High (20 year career, pioneers in Korean hip hop who mostly occupy the alt hip hop space); 3) The Rose (Indy rock band that do so many things beautifully): and 4) Colde (Korean K&B soloist who has an amazing aesthetic). Beyond these 4 there are more that are amazing that I sprinkle in: Nell (Pop band that also have that 20 plus year career), Hyukoh (Amazing Indy rock band that perform in English, Mandarin, and Korean), AKMU (brother sister singer/song writer pair); Zion.t and Crush (K R&B). I would be remiss if I didn’t mention DEAN. He is an amazing producer/singer/rapper who is terrific but has been relatively inactive for 4.5 years. BUT, he has a new release coming out on Nov. 18th (tomorrow). This is just the tip of the Korean music iceberg. I wish you much joyous listening.

As a fan of The Rose from Debut, I can say that there has never been a disappointing moment from them. If you want some Korean bands, you could try N.flying (sober) or F.T Island (Take me now) Another great band is not from Korea but I love is The Rasmus from Finland.

Glad you enjoy and appreciate The Rose. I've only really know them for about a year. 3of theme were in the military and the other, one of the main vocals, Sammy /Woosang put out a solo album. Accidentally so his promotion so then saw the band with their album Heal. I'm not a musician, not analyzing the music with those standards... Just by personal feel and taste :) They are still touring US maybe you would like to see them if you have the chance... I think bands like this should have more support (not enough if any on the main stream)

Long time BTS ARMY; more recent Black Rose. Check out Nell and Epik High - both older groups that debuted around 2008? Nell is also indie rock; Epik High is hip hop but really really diverse in terms of style. Both groups were big influences on RM and Suga from BTS and have featured on tracks of theirs.
