Completely impressed with the snow machine ("snowmobile" in other places)! Amazing that it was still running. Someone ended up getting a good engine! It all looks like a good time. It would be nice to be there for that sometime. I'd rather see something offbeat like this than fireworks.

holy crap! this is amazing.

I hate seeing cars destroyed and don't go to demo Derbys because of it. But I fully support the right to do what you want, where you want, when you want. Just because it's not my thing doesn't mean any one person can dictate what others can/cannot do. It's called freedom and it isn't free. I'm into drag racing which obviously requires more skill than smashing something, but I hope everyone had a good time. Happy 4th!

I think it's worth mentioning here that one of the hardest things to "clean up" would be the glass. I noticed it was removed, at least the ones I could see in the little parade before hand. So for all those that are so worried about the horrors of pollution it is obvious these folks are dealing with the problem at a number of levels. Why not just let these folks have some fun? A small amount of is oil simply going to break down rather quickly, the rest will be hauled off and melted down to make new useful products.

As soon as I saw the first few seconds I said yep that is Alaska. I sent an email to someone sometime last year. I keep offering to advise you how to set off some fireworks in the vehicle when it is in mid-air. I think if you did that one time you would want to always do it. Or just keep doing the way you are.
