Agreed...Star Wars theme is a big stretch.

We have some videos coming down the pipeline that are more of the “old style” recording with install focus. I hope you like them! This room is a minimalist take on Star Wars. The feel is like a space ship and he has little Star Wars pieces in the tables in the back but it’s definitely not over the top star wars themed with props and things like that. We are very happy with the subtitle integration of star wars into the clean design. Thanks for your support!

The customer did not want the unit hanging in the room when the projector is not in use and to get the best picture/ brightness out of the projector we had to mount it in that location. Preferably we would put it in a hush box at the rear of the room or in the room behind the theater but the image quality would be sacrificed. I did not want to go AT. 1. I wanted to display L&R 2. Going AT for just one speaker- meh didn’t seem worth it 3. There is a slight (slight) PQ and sharpness loss with AT screens. I felt the PQ was more important than the speaker level. Tweeter is adjustable and I have to reeeally focus my ears to tell audio is coming below the picture. When I am engaged in the movie, I absolutely cannot perceive the center being below the picture.

Are those front towers good for movies i know they are great foe 2 channel music but movies??

@@johnlira3316 I have had no complaints. I have been to 10-12 HTs. I would say I have not heard anything to make me think these are subpar to anything else I have heard. I have also asked multiple professionals in industry to critique them after listening and complemented the front sound stage. Some saying, “best room I have heard yet”.

If I had to guess it would be due to the steamer you are using not picking up the meta data from Netflix to display in the subtitle information. We highly recommend Apple TV 4K. We have found the best results with Apple TV. Hope that helps!

I agree. As a THX Home Theater Level 1, THX Home Theater Level 2 Certified Installer, I see many issues with this setup, the big one being the location of the center channel speaker which is not where it should be for this type of setup if it was done to THX specifications. Nice looking room, but some odd and just bad decisions made. Sadly I see this a lot.

@@officejedi7465 I personally did not have anyone thx certify this room. I cannot comment on that. I did reply to other poster on why I chose to go non-AT screen. You find “a lot” wrong…haha okay. Well most of the world has to have compromises in their rooms. It’s part of the HT hobby. Compromises happen and have to work in the parameters of the room. Even a purpose built room has compromises. Please direct me to rooms that you have knowledge of without “a lot” of things done wrong so I can be educated. I like to learn.

@@DarthBrockstar Don't get me wrong, the theater looks fantastic and probably sounds fantastic. But things can always be better with a little bit of knowledge and training. This is why I just hate seeing companies who "specialize" in home theater installations, do things that just make no sense to me, or are against THX installation standards (which most people don't know about, by the way, without taking the course and getting the certification yourself). And you are right. Its all about compromises and work arounds for the physical dimensions of the room to get as close to best practice and standards that you can in the given space, while adjusting as best you can for what cant work. Rooms CAN be perfect, but those are built from the ground up to be so, and cost $$$$$. So many cannot achieve this level of audio and video perfection. All I'm saying is, if the people that built it, were Certified THX installers and technicians, different choices would have been made due to our installation standards to get the optimal experience and performance. But all that really matters is that you are happy with it and your guests love the experience as well. @@DarthBrockstarcompromise is normal and a necessity but as a THX Certified Advisor for 25 years I know for a fact this room can NOT pass any THX certification.

The customer is using a MadVR which is the superior video processor on the market.

I find the Tuscany Ultimates to be quite wide…unless you are a much above average human.

Well….they can be any color of the rainbow including “off”. Accents aid in the overall pop especially for new people invited over.

My fat ass has sat in these same branded seats and found them quite roomy, and commenting on LED's that can be changed or turned off? Move along, also your caps lock is on..
