Spider-Man Far From Home
Ok so the movie picks up in the aftermath of Avenger’s Endgame. Tony’s absence is felt throughout the film including drawings in the classroom at the start, mural on walls and pretty much every city that appears in the movie.
Not only does Tony’s memory linger over Peter his image is also used by Mysterio as one of the ways that he manipulates the character.
Before making his quoute unquote Sacrifice Play, Mysterio mimics Tony Stark by snapping his fingers to make Peter believe that they are similar in their actions.
Seeing Mysterio live whilst Tony died tricks the character into believing that he has a second chance to do the right thing.
When Peter drops the Edith glasses, one of team mysterio picks it up for him and hands it over, highlighting that he is irresponsible and will lose them.
Mysterio deliberately chooses a similar appearance to how Tony did in the first Iron-Man movie. He slicks back his hair, has a beard and upon donning the EDITH glasses could be mistaken for the billionaire Playboy.
This tricks Peter into believing that he in some ways is a younger version of Tony and it’s one of the main reason he sees him being the true heir to the mantle.
Mysterio traditonally looked like Spock from Star Trek in the comics and when we see the character in flashback he is clean shaven so we can assume that this hair and beard choice were done on purpose because he knew that Peter looked up to Tony.
He also likely knows that the character has been close to Doctor Strange as they traveled together to Titan in Infinity War. Mysterio’s magic too resembles the runes that Strange uses which further influences the character.
His arms also resemble Thor’s costume in some ways as he has a similar texture and in the end credits we can see that he did pull from the character’s design in some ways. Peter has mentioned that Thor used to be a myth and that they now study him in pyshics so he would be aware of the character.
Beck had clearly been following Peter for some time and he actually appears behind him in venice after Peter goes to buy the black dhalia necklace for MJ.
If you jump to 18 minutes and 15 seconds you should be able to spot him on the left hand side stalking the character.
He’s not alone either and throughout the scene we also see Guterman who appears behind MJ and Peter as they stroll along the canal.
We see later in the movie that Guterman is the storyteller of the group that writes all of the events that happen.
He escapes the kill zone at one point and even tips his hats to the students who he believes are going to die.
There’s also an image of a blonde woman that looks rather distinctive and we see her pop up later in the movie as part of Team Mysterio so it seems like she’s also checking things out.
William Riva also appears and he is revealed to a scientist from Iron-Man one but he’s not the only character that drops in throughout the film. This is Peter Billingsly, the kid from A Christmas Story and he appeared in both movies, even shaving his head to be in the role.
There’s also several clues in the film that everything is not as it seems long before we learn that team Mysterio are trying to get the EDITH glasses.

I always thought that the seatbelt broke because he’s Spider-Man and he just has super strength? Like he was frustrated with the seatbelt and probably just pulled harder than he meant to

@@zachkelly1847 It actually makes even more sense now. You'd assume: yeah he's Spider-Man so he's super strong, he's probably done that before. But also, why would Fury's car have bad seatbelts when one of them in Winter Soldier had a turret installed, and also Fury probably would react more strongly to Peter doing that in his car.

The fact that Mysterio calls the world of the MCU “Earth-616” is also a clue he’s making it up because the MCU is Earth-199999. Earth-616 is the regular Marvel comics universe number.

I'm curious to see how they work with the world knowing the identity of Spiderman. There is a part of me that still believes Spiderman is dealing with an illusion from Mysterio (either technologically based, or something new), and that in reality the world does not know his identity. Seems far fetched, but I'm having a hard time believing his identity is out in the open just like that.

I didn't see it mentioned in the comments or the video but I may have missed it. In the scene where peter first puts on the E.D.I.T.H glasses she says, "Tony loved his acronyms". Maybe I'm grasping at straws here but could it be a reference to the fact that the events of this movie were cause by Tony's acronym for Quinten's invention when he called it B.A.R.F

Seat belt broke cause Peter was flustered and his strength got the best of him. That car was a Lada. Looks crappy but could still drive a 1000 miles even after Peter landed on it.

5:00 the "lazer" was not aimed at the car, it was aimed at the floor in front of it. Rocks fly out and those hit the window, making cracks, not bullet holes.

But you have to remember the lazer is not real, hence no damage was made and rocks could not fly out However what we do know is that there are bullet firing drones

In the video it is stated that the "laser" hitting the car leaves bullet holes, and that is an example of the foreshadowing that this is all fake, except the "laser" does not hit the car. Now, knowing what we do by the end of the film, either the drones shit at the car, and the hologram covered it up with rocks, or the drones shot at the floor in the path of the "laser", and rocks sprayed up and hit the car. Either option is not an example of this foreshadowing, because it makes logical sense that the rocks would make individual cracks in a windscreen. That is litterally what happens to cars all the time around loose stones and gravel. Given what we know at that point in the movie, it just looks like rocks hitting the car. After we have watched the movie, we can look back and try to guess how the drones and holograms did everything, but that doesn't suddenly make the movie cleverer that it is.

You would think Peter would sense Mysterio walking up behind him to sit on the ledge. But as we find out throughout the movie, his Spidey sense doesn't really work. Which makes sense. But it also seems like Peter felt someone sitting next to him because he looks towards the ledge before Mysterio's hologram sits down.

That snap was the best. Mindblowing I didn't notice. The damage to Fury and Hill's car during the Fire monster fight is rock debris. You can clearly see rocks flying off the ground and into the windshield. Other than that, great video!

I noticed while watching it the first time, the suitcase Peter takes to travel with has the initials "BFP" for Ben Parker which would be the first time Uncle Ben is mentioned. Sadly it got burned with the rest of Peters stuff.

I remember seeing a light switch in Peter's room in the beginning (when aunt may is talking about the "Peter Tingle") and there's tape all over it with a note saying "do not turn off!!" And I'm really curious why? Watching the movie twice made me notice a bunch of Easter eggs like that too.
