After the badass ways Fern & Stark won their fights, everyone expects this episode's fight to be something similar. But this series is truly special with how it comes up with different a way of showing how badass Frieren can be.

8:28 you can look at it the other way around as well, Heiter has a massive amount of mana, roughly half of Frieren's by the statements in this episode. Frieren is suppressing it at 1/10 of maximum, and Heiter said she has 1/5 of his mana.

And now you know why Frieren is so awkward in social situations, aside from when she was young and the time spent with Flamme she spent the majority of her life until she met Himmel with no real contact with people other than maybe going to a village or town to buy and sell stuff.

My guess for the order to genocide the elves is that . The demon king like all mages has a form of precondition & saw its demise at the end of a elven mage. And chose the logical option no elves no death I.e. the skynet / terminator option.

Except that if you are right then the genocide of elves is the very reason because an elf will kill you. If you are wrong, no need to kill elfs. This is the usual conundrum of precognition

Also in EP4, she said in a flashback that the mere 10-year adventure was not even a hundredth of her life. (It also proves, that she is more than 1000 years old.)

Also the hints seeing the village grow in her Flashbacks. You see the advancement in time from bronze age to middle ages now. In her Flashback with Flamme speaking about demon nature, they all wear clothes that i would specify for the classic era of greek, also the city design and buildings.
