As MCU fans, we are all watchers. The way the Watcher says "Your stories mean everything to me" hit me hard.

If you're confused on what universe Black Widow was sent to at the end. Remember episode 3 with Hank Pim as Antman killing most of the Avengers. Black widow in that episode was killed, Loki showed up after Thor's death and decided to "extend" his stay on earth to invade then Nick Fury found Captain America's body and Captain Marvel was with Fury. Thats the same universe considering Captain America and Captain Marvel were fighting Asgardians and Loki was told that Black widow was killed in the universe of Episode 3. Edit: Also yeah the after credits were a bit lackluster. It basically confirms the second season but they're continuing from the characters of season 1.

Party thor was everything man . Without hardships that Loki put thor through its hilarious how he would've become a spoiled rich brat and so innocent and trusting of everyone. Ultra vision concept is terrifying. Proves that thanos really wasn't a villain he was just trying to save the universe in a wrong way. The finale was everything. Supreme strange is so strong can't wait for multiverse of madness 🤯

The Gamora with Tony we see The Watcher grab was from a cut episode due to the pandemic. Apparently they plan to show that episode during season 2

I know it’s not a lot of people’s favorite, but I love this show. By placing these characters in different scenarios, you’ll understand a little bit more about who they are in our MCU.

Seeing all these different reactors’ reaction to seeing Ultron and the watcher fight has been incredible

My favorite part of What If…? is that we get to see the Infinity Stones getting used again. I did like that they were destroyed in the main MCU because it was a fitting end for them, however it felt like we barely ever seen their power separately or together. Additionally, if you haven’t figured it out, in the ending with Black Widow, she goes to the universe of Episode 3, the one where Yellowjacket kills most of the Avengers. That was why only Cap, who was still in the ice at that time, and Captain Marvel were fighting against Loki

You noticed Rocket but did you get that that was a Hangover reference? Since Rocket is voiced by Bradley Cooper. It’s pretty clever That Infinity Ultron stinger was my favorite. Out of all the alternate possibilities, Ultron winning and then getting all the infinity stones was not one I expected!

I’ve been waiting for this reaction. The last two episodes (and the zombies, which they are apparently making a movie about) were BY FAR my favorites. I like how they can basically do anything when it’s animated, excited to see about Spider-Man freshman year😆

Up until the end of the Thor episode, I thought they were going to be fun, self contained stories. But good god, the finale popped right off. So glad you had a good time with it, and yeah, you need to watch Hawkeye, it's insanely fun, Jeremy Renner gets some much needed screen time as both Clint and Hawkeye, it's so much fun. And then you'll be all caught up until No Way Home reaches streaming, and I am looking forward to your reaction to that most of all.

Here's the What If... finale recap: 🤔 Ep. 1's Captain Carter's back in her world, identical to our MCU except for the end credit scene(is it puny Steve Rogers in that defrosted Hydra Stomper?). 🤷🏻‍♂️ Ep. 2's Star Lord Tchalla's back in his world continuing the story of Ego's invasion, now with Dairy Queen Peter Quill. Ep. 3's where Hank Pym killed the Avengers candidates, leaving only Captain Marvel & defrosted Captain America fighting the Asgardian invasion led by Loki got ep. 8's Black Widow since she's the last living being in hers. 🙌🏻 Ep. 4's Dr. Strange is now keeping watch of ep. 8's Ultron & ep. 6's Killmonger in his collapsed universe(a pocket dimension inside a pocket dimension). 🔮 Ep. 5's Scarlet Witch is killed by ep. 8's Ultron, its story not continued. Ep. 6 lost its Killmonger, its story not continued. Ep. 7's Thor's back in his world, saved from ep. 8's Ultron's invasion. Ep. 8's universe is dead(a step up from ep. 4's which collapsed in on itself). ⚰️ Ep. 9 took place all over the multiverse, the featured Gamora's story isn't in any of the preceding episodes. You know, an easy solution to any Infinity War is to teleport them to the TVA. 😆

Now that I'm thinking about it. The Watcher somewhat menacingly saying he would protect the multiverse to the end makes me feel like, somewhere down the line, we're going to see The Watcher vs The TVA.

Boy do I wish I could experience the What If The Watcher Broke His Oath episode for the very first time again! Impeccable episode, is that and E4 tied on the first spot of my list.

Ultron is an AI, he/it was attempting to fulfill what it thought it's purpose was. In this case, it was meant to bring about peace and came to the conclusion that the only way to do that was to eliminate all life as it figured that as long as there was life, there'd be conflict.

Captain Marvel is one of the most powerful beings in the Universe and, if you count them among the Avengers, is the second most powerful Avenger after Wanda (they both got their powers from absorbing energy from infinity stones, though Wanda has extra power in addition to that). So, yes, she is more powerful than Thor.

The universe Black Widow ended up in was the one that saw Hank Pym kill all the Avengers. That's why it's just Nick Fury, Captain America and Captain Marvel vs Loki and his Asgardian army at the end.

Not sure if you realize this but this is still the MCU.

The thor vs captain marvel argument has stumped us fans for a long time. At base level, Danvers Is stronger. But if they were to both power up at the same time (marvel goes binary and Thor uses the Odinforce) thor would absolutely wash her

The series as a whole did a great job of playing with the comic concept from What If. Some stories are weird or funny, others are incredibly dark or tragic. It's partially about exploring ideas but also playing around with questions raised during series. It only really works when you have a pretty solid nerd base where people know lots of about a lot of characters. The best What ifs weren't always the best episodes, and some of the best episodes weren't fanatic What ifs. But as a season it was a lot of fun. The most disappointing part of the MCU, imo, has been this idea that the core of the Avengers from the first two movies are somehow the only way to have an Avengers team. If you've read comics you know line-ups are always changing. If you strip away the multiverse aspect this series is like a micro MCU. Each episode gets to be an origin story or a explanation of a location or villain. The episodes are different, a heist or a comedy or horror. Until you get to see them all working together it doesn't have to make sense. You don't even have to like every part. But that doesn't the team up won't be worth it. Which is hopefully the best part of the series. Yes the MCU has been fun, but What If the original MCU Avengers were Peggy, Strange, Thor, T'Challa, Natasha and Gamora? There's lots of ways to tell great Marvel stories and I like that MCU is willing to start to really explore that.

You know if you think about it why haven’t the TVA came to arrest ultron like they did Loki? The TVA is a space where the infinity stones don’t work and there was a scanning machine that Loki walked through to test if he was a robot; which would have blown him up.

For me the episode 8 is easily the best one, followed by Ep 4 and 5. The finale was amazing but one thing is questionable, they said that Infinity stones can work in different universes only if they are used by someone from the same universe as they are, so Killmonger shouldn’t be able to do what he did in the finale with these stones.
