E-50 is the best rammer, especially for platoons. And it’s tier 9, so sometimes you get a few tier 7 targets and there are a lot of tier 8 heavies that weigh less than E-50.

I remember having quite a lot of fun ramming in the type 59 in platoons. But those were the days that signing up in a platoon of those would sometimes result in matches with 9 or 12 of the things at once. And before they nerfed the living shit out of it.

That third game is exactly what the IS7 was made for, a breakthrough tank, breaking through the opposition, and causing havoc behind enemy lines. The very concept of Blitzkrieg, of advanced tank warfare, something so frequently absent in World Of Tanks.

You want to run bounty or bond turbo for better engine power, it is necessary for the true speed build. This build is also the meta build in clanwars

As a tip you should use bounty turbo and also the ungoverned limiter, adding those two will give you the highest speed possible

The last game and how it turned out is kind of the best case scenario trying to do this solo. At one point he was basically 5v1 and forcing 1/3rd of the enemy team to pay attention to him. You can win games doing it but I think unless you have the support/platoon to help make it happen it can be a bit of a struggle and deny your team a heavy tank. I had some games where doing crap exactly like this allowed my team to capitalize on but left me a smoking wreck without even having done my hit points in damage.

There are 3 problems making you struggle: 1. You're not used to play this way. 2. There is better setup for this. 3. It works best in a platoon (mentioned). Bouncing tier 8 arty with gold shell from 20 meters was golden. :D

For a real fun setup, go for normal hardening, grousers, bond turbo, tachometer, and fuel with repair kit. u will be much faster and it makes even more fun :D

Skeeiiil, you should try regular hardening instead of experimental for the reduced ramming damage. Also hope you have the ramming crew skill. Makes a massive difference!

Unfortunately a lot of games lately have been people in is7 just pushing medium and td lines. You cant counter it unless you have a lot of guns on that line. If its just you and a light tank and 1 td, its over.

Best thing ever was to bounce that arty with gold after that ram. The nonsense of this build gets x1000 times better playing Arcade mode. Trust me comrades. Try this build with a platoon of IS-7 and you will have a ton of fun ramming Kranvagns for 1k damage.
