@@findingfinsuk How totally brilliant. I can't be a 100% certain, but outside of the SeaWorld tragedy I don't think there's ever been a human fatality involving an Orca? I guess they must see us expelling air and think to their selves......'Ah family, we'll not harm them.' I'm aware of the spate of attacks on sailing boats off the coast of Portugal. Knocking rudder's etc out of action. I expect they witness the large trawlers depleting the ocean's of their food and they're trying to get a message across. Who knows? I'm aware that they're far more intelligent than we ever realised.

I also appreciate how it’s just your video, as you’d filmed it. I notice many whale videos are slowed down for maximum “majestic” or powerful effect or something. Which I get, but why can’t we see the whales as they are? I understand if it’s a documentary montage, or a sequence of clips, edited… but sooo many whale and dolphin videos, I look at the waves & the ripples around the whale, or the seagulls even, and I think what… that’s not how slow these animals really move! They can go so fast! When needed. So thank you!

I've heard that orca's are the assholes of the sea. They will torment a seal for hours to fatigue them, then let the little orca's finish them off. Once the fun is done, the orca pod leaves the (uneaten) seal carcass to rot and swim off on their merry way. Seals on the other hand are wonderful puppies of the sea.
