I did this last night and got lucky with 6 UR cards which I converted into points for staples. Once f2p players use the initial haul of gems from missions, the gem rewards go down significantly to the point where it is impossible to get anymore UR points to get staples, so spend the UR points carefully on cards you can use in multiple decks.

One thing to note is that the free pull deal is a one time thing for each pack. Even if you re-unlock the same packs 24 hours after you originally unlocked them, you don't get the "Free pull deal" anymore, so if you want to get the UR's you are missing while having enough SR points, take advantage of this while you still can.

On like my second day of playing this game I decided to spend 1k gems on 10 packs of the Mekk-Knight booster to hopefully pull a Knightmare Unicorn and ended up pulling a total of 7 UR’s from those packs (1 Unicorn, 3 Gryphon, 3 Mekk-Knight link 3 guy). I didn’t realize how insanely lucky I was at the time so it gave me a really bad impression of how likely it is to pull UR’s since now I’m lucky if I get even 1 or 2 from every 10 packs lol

I learned about this last night from the Reddit thread, got 4 UR pulls with a slight neg in a few SR points, and my brother got 6 URs total.

Just hit plat with your Monarch's list and other than that I've just been hoarding gems and crafting points haha

Another thing F2P players should keep in mind is the Card-Foiling, if you like draw multiples of a card you only can play or need 1 of in every deck and you have 1 in "Non-Foil" and the others have a foil, even if it kinda hurts, dismantle the foil card to get MORE crafting materials then dismanteling the "Non-Foil" card. In the end foil and not foil still do the same thing, and if u realy wanna play foil cards just craft commons and rares till you get here foil version.

I tried it as soon as I saw it on Reddit. Sadly missed out 3 or 4 packs because I discovered those previously by crafting cards of them. It's very important to keep that in mind if you already crafted some SR's/UR's! But Overall its an OK strategy to get somewhat free UR's. Especially if you're as lucky as I was and get stuff like Knightmare Unicore and Triple Tactics :D

Would be dope if each card gave you crafting points, but the UR were just more expensive.

This is pretty much the Endgame of Master Duel, dismantling all of the cards you dont need in order to get a chance for better ones

thank you, thanks to this ive now fished building my Cyrdas and Pranks 100% never thought i coculd have at least 2 full decks so quick into the game, now w.e i get i can save and make a 3rd deck in the future with event gems etc, i havent even played alot, just 34 on BP and rank sliver 1 and about 4 chapters down in story, ive been casually playing past week cause i was halfish done both decks but now i think ill be playing alot more! Wasting resources. Better value is crafting a cards that you really need and as a bonus you get a free pack. This method right here you wasted a lot of SR points. 30 for a new card, repeated cards only grants you 10. You’re losing 20 SR. For every crafted SR you need to pull at least 2 SR from a single pack to held some value, and your still losing 10 points.

Man you are a genius a total madlad I did it with only 8 cards(excluding the raid knight and selene) and had a total of 7 UR and now I can craft to finish my new deck with all the dust thanks a lot

seriously..master duel should add feature to convert lower rarity craft points to higher one. like maybe 100 R to 10 SR. something like that. i have 4000+ N and R points. what the hell would i use those for

Why do people think this is a n exploit? Its just a quicker way to unlock the packs you would have unlocked just for playing the game normally

I mean sure do it if you can but I wouldnt recommend that if you havent already build all the SR staples in the game

The URs I got from this video saved me 40 to 50 bucks and I had just enough to finish Swordsoul/Tenyi deck from crafting I'm forever grateful for this video I subbed cause of that thank you very much

I am not certain if any of this has gotten updated from Konami in the past year. From my experience and from what I am reading in the comments, packs do open more than once but it is definitely not on a daily basis. If I were to make an assumption, it could be a once a month per pack or it could be once once a pack with this unlocking every time they rerelease the packs.

I got 10 UR doing this! Amazing. Im almost free of hand-traps taxes

so essentially you just waste 10 craftable srs, into only half that or lower, and maybe some urs... instead you could use those 300 sr points to craft 10 sr cards you want anyways, and then the cards you crafted may have packs specifically for the deck made, possibly getting the srs picked for your deck, making it so you dont have to craft. instead 30 srs for 1 card, became 2 or 3... otherwise, getting random cards you werent directly looking for, will only hurt your value as you turned useful 30 sr into a value of 10 sr of a card you wont use, and may not even get extra srs or urs, and even if you do, they only amount to a value of 10 sr of a card that may as well be useless to you... generating a -10 sr point value... a negative and thus unwanted result...

Amazing! You can use up 30 SR points (or just 20 if you dismantle the card afterwards) to get a chance at 10 SR points or even none at all! :D

Amazing video mate! Did all 10 (invested 300SR dust) and I got 5 UR's and 21 SR (220 SR dust) back Some packs were completely dead but then my final pack had 2 UR's in it (Mirrorjade and Odd Eyes Arc) Amazing method!

I absolutely disagree that 30 UR points is worth investing 300 SR points. In theory it would be worth if you got 10 times more SR pulls than UR pulls but in reality its not that easy to calculate because most of the URs that you need for your deck can be replaced and aren't mandatory. That reduces UR's value hard. Even tho I disagree with most of the things that were said I like the video a lot, great work! :)

i pulled enough ultras to craft 2 more + i got a foil apollousa that im gonna keep. overall pretty good investment. a shame we cant do this over and over again. think you only get free packs the first time you obtain/craft any given super or ultra

I came to the comments to verify exactly what i thought....this essentially does nothing if you're not super lucky....as all pull related things in yugioh are

People are acting like this is an exploit or trick or something but you would get all these free packs just playing the game and opening stuff normally lol. I didn’t go out of my way to do it at all and I’ve already unlocked every secret pack at least once.

I crafter 9 on these (I didn't include Hot Red Redragon because it can only give 1 free pull). Here's what I got: 5 URs (1 shiny) and 10 SRs (1 shiny). Since I spend a total 270 SRCP (spend from 9 crafts) then the result dismantled is 55 URCP + 105 SRCP (from pull) + 100 SRCP (from 9 crafted with 2 shiny). So it's 270 SRCP = 55 URC + 205 SRCP then 270 SRCP - 205 SRCP = 55 URCP. Thefore: 65 SRCP = 55 URCP, not bad! These are chances, you might be luckier and get more URs or you might end up with total bad luck with no URs....

Thanks for the info I’m going to try this out as I’m almost done in finishing this deck I want to make for my Switch but I’m only missing 19 cards and they are all ultra rare cards and so far I need 570 ultra rare crafting points to complete the deck and I only have 10 ultra rare crafting points right now which means I only need 560 ultra rare crafting points in order for me to complete this deck

its super important that you guys dont open many other boxes before.. because if you find secret packs from openings of other packs you wont get a free pull.. thats a bit unfair i think but hey its money fishing level konami so yeah...

OK. So I did the trick. I started with 260+ SR-CP, so I had to do this in two halves, My net worth was a deficit of 40 SR-CR (so 220+ SR-CP left), but I got about 25 UR-CP of net increase, and some quite insane pulls. I got 1 Forbidden Droplet, 1 Magician's Souls and 1 Borreload Dragon.

I think it's better to craft the UR odd eyes pendulum dragon then the SR rune eyes dragon because you get the same 2 packs you get for rune eyes and 1 other pack so essentially you are getting 3 packs for odd eyes pendulum dragon as apposed to only 2 packs!

I like this trick, but it is too easy to go neg on points for my tastes.

Another “tip” that may help: I opened a set of 10 packs and didn’t receive a single UR. A message popped up saying something along the lines of “since you didn’t get any UR this time, one will be guaranteed in your next set of 10”... I didn’t really feel like dropping 1000 more gems on the same packs, but did it just for the guaranteed UR. I ended up getting 8 UR’s from those 10 packs 😳 So yeah, if you hit a dry spell, maybe don’t lose faith lol

Sadly here to say that it didn't really work out at all. Got 1 UR. Granted, I didn't get all the free packs. I had 3 of them already but yeah. Let's hope other people have better luck!

I went +800 N, +640 R, -75 SR, +20 UR i kept the Artemis and a Giant rex and 1-2 fog blades that I packed but dismantled every other pull as well as the other crafted cards

I'm curious if this is an incomplete list? Doesn't crafting a SR from every secret pack unlock a free pack the first time? So, for example, why isn't Rokket Tracer on the list to unlock a free pack of the Shot into Friction or whatever pack

Great video thank you! For those interested in what I got, not the best not the worst. Crafted a total of 9SRs and got 13 SRs + 4 UR (one of which included Borreload Savage dragon which I wanted). Funny thing is all my URs were in like the first 7-8 packs. Guess my luck ran out after that

It's NOT weekly, either! At least 1 week after aquiring the packs. Maybe you have to wait a week after they expire. Edit: Does anyone have the exact timing and conditions?

I don't think this works anymore after doing it once. I just wait for the packs to go hidden again and wasted a ton of SR points on the same above crafted cards, as well as other cards to not even get a single free pull.

I lost 90 super points and gained no ultras on my primary account. My second one got me 3 ultras and one super that has the shatter foil/prismatic look.

And I mastered it step one collect as many gems from solo step two create a sr card that’s featured in the secret park step three use all the gems you got on that secret park Step 4 break down all your sr cards you will get them back in the future anyway step five use all your sr points to try to get all 100 packs in the first 24 hours write down the packs you don’t have for later

I got mega lucky, marshalling field got me 3 UR with 2 of them being bordered

How about paying the money to a crafting point pack for the people who want to keep it real,and not gamble?Can you answer my question,on this subject and pin it?(Before people talk shit:Having played the game for 23 years,non-digitally,there was a trade or buy singles route for people before,instead of trying to be a lucky person,after all,I want to play with the cards,not spend more time obtaining them,and there should be an option for people who have been loyally paying for years.)

So I haven't spent any gems yet. So no secret packs unlocked. Is this specifically when you craft or can you get it randomly when you pull something and unlock the pack?

First time doing this pulled 6UR cards and 9 SR so got 60UR materials and 90SR I think that’s pretty good 👍🏼

Lets face it, for f2p , this is only the cherry on top of all these Packs you can purchase from free gems in the beginning. Once you opened a free Pack of a secret Pack, you will never be able to Do it again so this is no trick to gain more UR on the long run whatsoever.

Yes selling URs your not going to use is great im f2p minus the first deck i got to actually play ranked (monarchs) and im almost done with a thunder dragon deck thats taking awhile considering i didnt have to get extra deck monsters until now

Why are we allowing this as people?!Why isn’t there a player trade system?Or a way to purchase singles,outright,like in real life?The whole point of YGO is to build a superior strategy compared to your opponent by using various cards that may or may not be easier to get than others,I get that.The problem is,is that they cornered the way you obtain them by making you gamble to get them.Not a good habit to have.Which means it’s almost impossible to find someone that is actually playing the way they did when they had the physical copy of the card.Now you can only obtain cards through they’re influence.I can’t believe you guys are to naive to see this!Crazy.

i think i got 2 URs from doing this, so for me this was worth it, but honestly it doesnt matter if your card comes in multiple secret packs or not, even if you just get 1 free pull thats already worth it, you just need to keep track somehow which of the free pulls you have already gotten. SR craft points are pretty much worthless, there are not a lot of staple SR cards that you need, maybe all the pot cards, evenly matched, twin twisters, skill drain, thats pretty much it.
