I was a bit confused why they picked the Forever Rock to be mentioned. Mount Cavora is probably the most iconic part of Chima after all. But I guess the Forever Rock having a realm passage underneath makes it pretty important. Also curious if they're gonna explore the other places. Diamond Glaciers and the Boiling Beach.

when ras mentioned the forever rock, it was the closest i have ever been to fainting. I literally couldn't speak full words for a few minutes. I've waited almost a decade for this very moment. Ninjago have really knocked it out the park with this announcement!

Great news! Those two themes are highly compatible anyway. Would love to see Chima characters making cameo appearances in Ninjago sets, perhaps even more.

Chima and Ninjago have always had a connection. In season 6, Lloyd and Morro accidentally fell into the Chima realm during their final battle, confusing Laval and Cragger. Still, it's cool that they're using the connection in this way. I'm all for a good crossover.

Chima has been part of Ninjago ever since S5 Possession.

The bigger question is what happens when you die now in ninjago, since the departed realm is presumably also merged. Do you just get teleported across the map?

An important question about chima we have to answer is how much time has passed for them think about it they used archive footage for the cameo that confirmed that they’re in the same universe. so as far as we know, Lego could basically do a soft reboot with the chima population

i really hope we get to see the chima cast revisited in the neat future, i would love to see an older, wiser laval back in action.

Whoever came up with Ninjago is a genius. It's literally the perfect original theme, because you can integrate other themes into it (like Exo-Force was basically resurrected inside Ninjago with all the mechs etc.).

As an outsider not into both themes and a tricenarian, I thought they’re already connected as part of the Lego Cinematic Universe LCU, guess I was right all along.

I mean, Clutch Powers was in the show. I never watched up to that point but wouldn’t him being in the show technically mean themes like Power Miners and Fantasy Era Castle exist in the same world too? Maybe it’s just a whole planet of all the different Lego Themes, with a few that were in different “realms” but that are now becoming part of the same world

I’m still impressed with the development! But does that mean we’re getting Chima back in the future Dragons Rising Season 3? Was Ras an outlander of Chima? Are we also getting the characters from Chima (Like Laval’s eight hero team) in future Ninjago sets again? What if Ras not only wanted Energy from source? I had a lot of questions in my theory.

I only ever had two Chima sets, and I regret not getting more and keeping them, because I'd love to get some Chima sets now to display with my Ninjago sets.

It’s nice to see this happen with an official confirmation (even we the fans knew from the start). Chima was one of my favourite LEGO themes growing up and I still cherish all of the Chima sets I have to this day (which makes me slightly sad that I never got more of them). But with this confirmation that Ras is from the realm of Chima, this just makes him an even more interesting character…and now I want to get his LEGO figure now.

I really hope that they make some more Legends Of Chima sets. It's my favorite LEGO theme. I just wouldn't want them tied to Ninjago as I don't care for that theme at all.

Kinda makes sense seeing how the snakes are animal people so Chimas other animal minifigs fits.

With China being almost as big a part of my childhood as Ninjago was (and is) I am stoked that they’re tying it in even more. Can’t wait!

Chima came out right when I was losing interest in Ninjago, and I found it MUCH more interesting! The snake vehicles were already the coolest part of Ninjago, and suddenly there was a whole theme devoted to such things. I’m still disappointed that Chima never got the same quality of writing as Ninjago because it was a much more interesting concept imo. If Chima gets incorporated into Ninjago, I may have to get caught up on it. Makes sense that they would be in the same world since, well, the snakes fit right into Chima.

9:55 "Unfortunately" lmfao, yeah that's the experience. The sets are FANTASTIC and the lore is good, but the show itself is so up and down. I didn't think Ninjago was ending and I had no animosity towards Chima, but I still got fed up with the show after a while. I couldn't take it anymore after the first minute of Season 3, but maybe I'll finish it now

I am not a big fan of Legends of Chima, but I want Dragons Rising to make an official crossover. Not just cameos and name drops. I want to see the ninja interact with the heroes from Chima and maybe have them aged up.
