Cuando está tocando el Dombra, en la zona iluminada se ve el teclado... Lo que pasa es que nos embelesado con su canto y quedamos hipnotizados y no vemos nada. 😅 Dimash es una caja de sorpresas y siempre nos alucina en todas sus interpretaciones. Modo Jazz o Big Band activado... Saludos.

Lol. The instrument Dimash plays is called a dombra, the instrument that you were thinking about is probably the kobyz. The kobyz is played with a bow. The Dombra is 2 stringed with horse hair. Dudarai does mean My Curly, dudar means curly hair (the song is sung from the point of view of the young lady, and her nickname for the Kazakh boy is Dudar). If you rewatch the beginning, the keyboard was next to him. Lol. You guys are real funny.

Dimash is SOOOO underplayed. So under-recognized, even with we adoring millions of fans. I just loved that he picked up a funky tune and just killed it. You guys reacted to Story of One Sky, but you still have not seen him do it live. It's a WHOLE different experience! You HAVE to react to that. He performed it right before El Amor En Ti, which you already reacted to. PLEASE jump on that. I promise, you will be AMAZED to see him sing that live!

Dimash es un genio ,una caja de sorpresa, nunca deja de sorprendernos, el piano esta en el escenario a un costado de él, lo que pasa es que están concentrados en Dimash y en el Dombra que está tocando y en su voz que no se dan cuenta que el piano está alli 🤣🤣 gracias por sus reacciones me divertí mucho, ustedes son muy expresivos , saludos desde Venezuela

Thank you. The 2 stringed instrument that Dimash plays is the Dombra. It is a traditional Kazakh instrument and is the 'heart of Kazakhstan'. Most homes have one. (the other 2 stringed instrument that you were referring to is the Kobyz, which is an ancient Kazakh instrument). This is a Kazakh folk song that Dimash sings beautifully at the beginning and then changes it to a jazzy piece. Very fun :) Dimash is amazing!

The first instrument is a dombra, a Kazakh lute. The other instrument you're thinking of is a kobyz ("kobus") played with a bow. It opened "Stranger."

LOL😂🤣🙄😂🤣 Happy to see all this enthusiasm.😉 The longest breath here was the multi-level section right before those 3 staccato high notes. I was amazed, wondering how did he have air left for those 3 high notes? Can you do Omir/2023 Mood Video? Or Jasmine/2023 duet with Tia Ray at Silk Road Festival, please? Not sure that you had lyrics but just in case ... this is a folk song sung by a 17 year Russian girl telling a young Kazak boy that she was born for him. She tells him to get his butt moving between two mountains to her house and start courting her before the shallow boys around her win her suit. Her love name for him is "my Curly One" since he obviously had curly hair.😏 🥰🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🌹🦭🇨🇦

Dimash is playing the Dombra which has 3 or 4 metal strings. The other instrument you’re talking about is the Kobyz, which has two strings made from horse hair. Both are ancient, traditional Kazakh instruments. A jazzy upbeat take on a Kazakh song - but that’s Dimash - always surprising. Great to see him enjoying himself playing the dombra and piano🙏🏻🇦🇺

As part of the “Beauty and Harmony” program, Dimash delighted the audience in China with the Kazakh song Dudarai composed by Bakhytzhan Baikadamov. Dimash was accompanying himself on dombra and piano to perform the traditional song in jazz style. It was really amazing to see on stage a new facet of his multiple skills, always on point!! 🔝❤️🎤🪕 The dombyra (домбыра) is a lute-style instrument. It is an ancient and quintessential piece of Kazakh culture and identity. In its most popular form, the dombyra has two-strings strung down a long, skinny neck and a pear-shaped body, flat at the front and rounded on the backside. The dombyra is, in fact, so important to Kazakh national identity that there is a popular saying: “Naǵyz qazaq qazaq emes, naǵyz qazaq - dombyra” (Нағыз қазақ қазақ емес, нағыз қазақ - домбыра), which, translated, means “A real Kazakh is not a Kazakh, a real Kazakh is a dombra.” 💙💛🔝🌹🌹❤️🎤👏👏👏
