The 2021 hunting season keeps on for the Flyways Finest and Octobers footage is nothing short of incredible. We are back in Saskatchewan Canada with Swift River Outfitters and get ready for some more world class waterfowl hunting. Starting things off in the Canada goose spread, followed up with a nonstop 120 snow goose limit in a field that we did not plan on hunting the night before. Octobers fall colors in the north country are almost screensaver worthy but all eyes are on the ducks and geese this week. We have another 2 epic waterfowl hunts and also share some of the everyday adversity for any hunting outfitter. Episode 8 is packed with more incredible footage of decoying snow geese and Canada geese from start to finish.
Our season of world class hunting in Canada is almost indescribable. The migration and cold northly temps continue to bring new ducks and geese to the area. Each days scout carries a new narrative of tens of thousands of ducks and geese trying to pack on those extra fat reserves to make the long journey south. The leaves are falling and the mallards are in full color. The anticipation of the mornings sunrise as the frost slowly burns off, carries us to the sights and sounds of the prairie as the birds pour off the roost.
This is the our favorite time of the year, hunting season!
We also capture the never-ending scouts, the day to day adversity, the guides life and our kind hearted farmers of the “land of living skies” throughout Season 1. The hunting only seems to be getting better with each day and Saskatchewan definitely does not disappoint when it comes to waterfowl hunting opportunities. The prairies never-ending grain fields answer the dinner bell for all kinds of feathered fowl. The ducks and geese are hungry and the silhouettes of approaching geese on the horizon, only mean one thing....
