The enthusiasm and coaching is excellent!!! People who dont do it everyday dont understand how hard it is to balance between affective coaching and bugging out on anglers who lack skill. Great day and great job only thing that freaks me out everytime i watch those baits come in after a loss and they are all twisted on the hook. BRIDLE BRIDLE BRIDLE. Just as fast if not faster and no hook in the bait 🤟 P.S The burger forming trick with the lid was dope!!!!

Thick sea salt for curing the extra tuna. In container layers of tuna fillets vs salt. At least 24h,maximum one week depending on the thickness of the fish. Usually couple of days are enough, you rinse with fresh water and place the fillets in vegetable oil, vaze, jarrs, what ever. If it is to salty you can place it in fresh water as long as you prefer for consumption!!!

Sorry for being so critical but, Did anyone else notice that the kayak that lost his fish and came back to get a bait after Rob caught the 5 baits on the sabiki, the same guys rod was twisted so the eyes were not matching. Is this just a 2 piece rod that was twisted or is the rod designed like that?
@davewylie654
@davewylie654 7 ай бұрын
That is a custom rod and the eyes wrap around the rod this is called an "acid wrap" and it keeps the line completely off the rod supposedly.
@cristianocucumo4361
@cristianocucumo4361 3 ай бұрын
These guys rod guides are all whonky. Conventional facing up first half second piece facing down and one facing sideways? Idk I don’t get best performance when mine aren’t tight and right
@YakFishField
@YakFishField 3 ай бұрын
It’s called acid wrap or spiral wrap, and it’s what you want for heavy conventional rods. Google it for more info

People always give rob shit about coaching and ordering these guys around… Most these people dont know their way around a kayak very well. And a giant fish could easily tip the kayak. Then the person and all the gear is at risk of sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Is is so so easy to tip a kayak on the ocean.
@alexanderren1097
@alexanderren1097 8 ай бұрын
Yeah. Those same people complaining would also complain if Rob didn’t coach a client that ended up doing something wrong and falling in. Probably the same people that moan and complain whenever someone keeps a legal fish
@YakFishField
@YakFishField 8 ай бұрын
Some of the commenters complain, but every single client in 8 years has thanked me profusely for yelling at them in the heat of the moment. When the adrenaline is pumping, people tune out polite suggestions. I’ve learned that screaming at them is how we get more fish in their laps 😂
