Miami has some of the most expensive luxury real estate in the United States. From international movie stars to professional athletes, there’s no shortage of mansions in the coastal city. But there’s one home, in particular, that’s best known for its architecture, history, and the famous man who resided there. We’re talking, of course, about the late Italian fashion designer, Gianni Versace. So come in to take a look around with us because today we’re going inside the Versace Mansion in Miami.

So tragic that this creative genius' life was taken so senselessly. 🙏 I visited the mansion and had dinner at the pool a couple of years ago. It was magnificent! I didn't experience it as a gloomy or macabre place at all; rather, as a living monument to the great man who called it 'home'.

Until now I can’t believe that Giani Versace was gone… I’m a big fan of Versace from head to foot way back 1994…. Missing him so much ❤️

My HEART IS BROKEN at the thought Gianni Versace is not With us . Just Think of all the GORGEOUS Creation we have LOST . I think Donatella is doing a Great job ,But I still miss Gianni . RIP Dear Gianni

The house is beautiful, I don't know how the family sold it considering Gianni loved it so much, but I guess it would be a constant reminder of the tragedy that took place. I remember walking by this place like a month before he was murdered, & peering inside the gate, the pool area was amazing!

I was at the mansion in April 1997 taking photos in front and enjoying Gianni's beautiful world. 3 months before the tragedy. :'(

@@ThePrissy11 It's a beautiful place. I visited a couple of years ago. I believe the house can now be shared by the public. It's a great memorial to the man who lived here. I saw it as a place of joy and homage to him.

I stayed in the azure room in 2014 it was called villa by Barton G, I snooped around the whole place, swam in the pool and ate at the restaurant that is a grotto style. The picture of the gym you showed is actually the gym at Palazzo Versace hotel on the Gold Coast and you guessed it I have stayed their too. 🌟super blessed to do so and highly recommend! One day I want to go to palazzo Versace Dubai 😍 that’s on another level 🌟

I had rented the Juliet balcony apartment in the house in late 1989. The single one to the Left of the front door. South Beach was JUST beginning its come back. (My mom wasn’t happy, rougher then) The artistic we’re moving back to the historical Deco district. My dad was a property developer- I tried to get him yo buy the building twice. First time around $600K. Second around 1M. He said he was done with all that. Versace bought the original building in 1992 for $2.9M In 3 years the values jumped greatly….. then his additions, turning apartments into a grand home. The legacy…. Throughout the years…. Now a boutique hotel Wow🤯

I was thrilled to have dined here this summer (2022). I have always been endeared to Versace fashion, and have stayed in the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Australia. 🥰 I will have to have a look at the Palazzo Versace in Dubai now! 💜💜🇨🇦

What a treat to watch a video where the rooms/areas shown are genuinely a part of the actual residence. I'm sure we've all been tricked into watching house tours only to find the rooms shown are sadly stock photos.

@@gibsonfranchise the food was pretty good. It’s a hotel now so we had some freedom to walk round. We sat outside by the pool.

I stayed in the signature room in 2020. Not trying to convince you ghosts exist but first day I was in the shower and it has a glass door that can open inwards and outwards. I swear I saw the glass door slightly open inwards. I had it closed! I was creeped out but tried not to think much of it.

The luster and glitter of the world unfortunately is ephemeral. It is such a magnificent illusion that we are entirely imprisoned by it; at least temporarily. Like all illusions it is destined to disappear. The irony is that both the illusion as well as its creator are destined to disappear. Sometimes one has to wonder if everything we strenuously try to achieve has any value at-all? After all isn't it destined to disappear? Is it possible that the life force is Love? Ultimately isn't that the motivation for ALL that is?

Andrew Cunanan took his own life 8 days after he assassinated Gianni. Too bad he didn’t do it before he got to Miami. He’d killed 3 or 4 other men on his way to Miami.
