I realized later 😂😂 I gotta remember to check the freaking action log… wish the game made that card more clear that it was reason that was happening. But yeah I was just waiting for a sabo cause it was causing pain throughout the table! 😂

That was a really fun game. I had my chances and I’m not sure just what happened on my second Turmoil. Possibly something to do with Coffin Makers. The Commander should have been able to close the deal. Then there was the Marquise’s dominance play! Always fun. I thought that might distract the table enough for me to slip to the finish. Thanks to all for a memorable digital game of Root! Cornelius

It was an awesome game. And yes that coffin makers really threw the table for a loop. Plus cats going for dominance - it was such a delicate dance. I loved it :) thank you for playing!

3:30 definitely want to see these more! I prefer the live walkthoughs... it allows us to get into your mind and learn from the master hahaha. most people listen to/watch 1+ hours podcasts whilst doing other things.. I see this as different in one way: it's interesting!

I'm shocked the otters didn't attack the northern most bunny clearing on their final turn. Easy 6 points. Put two trade posts down and game over. Very entertaining game though!

Yep. They already had a chance to close that way at the 1h mark, but only with two rolls of 3. Then in the final round they really threw it.

It would be great if they added a very short animation showing your warriors going into the Coffin Makers card on removal

Thank you for some more root content I love this game and I would love to see more of these! Also I told you about heroscape in the comments of a previous video its a war game that currently has a kick starter open I think you will like it! I must have misunderstood the WA but in physical play we’d always allow a revolt regardless if a base was already standing. We’d then just move the base (as if the revolutionaries relocated)

Yeah so you can only revolt if you have a base available :) that’s why usually I stray away from getting the 3rd base unless it makes a big difference (like stopping Birds from winning in this case).

Root needs a leaderboard and some titles. The digital game needs a reason to play it. Like Risk or chess online gives you a ranking based on your win rate.

@@db0ii it is available on many different platforms; Steam, Google Play, App Store, Nintendo Switch. As I understand it, it is cross-platform for all of them. I hope something suits you there ☺️
