it is well known that basic region of buffalo living is marshland and tropical regions. the Turkish take it from Iraq when they invaded in the 16th century beside what so called the Turkish cuisine and Turkish sweets. and if you want to make sure just Google it and find where did the Ottomans basically came from? and what is their culture. in front of Iraq's 5 thousands years of civilizations.

Oh man, I'm an Iraqi in Canada and this is just reminiscent of everything I ate growing up! I still make all of these foods at home lol. Did you try some of the simple pleasure foods? Like murghat fasooliya khuthra or yabsa(green bean or white bean stew)? Or tepsi(vegetable and lamb casserole)? Bagilla wa dihan(fava beans and oil with egg)? Or a kurdish love.. borani(grilled eggplant with yogurt and dill)?
