I love using chalk paint on mason jars. I generally add a coat of matte mod podge on top to keep the paint from chipping.

Great ideas, and projects! I really love them all ❤️...I have a question....after painting the jar's, my concern is with the paint chipping off over time...what do you recommend I use, to protect the painted glass surface?

Hi! Thank you so much ❤️ I'd say spray them with a top sealer in clear. Like Rust-Oleum or Minwax Polycrilic.

Oh mason jars, yesss! :D I love me some white wax! A coat of clear gloss, satin or matte spray paint works as a nice top coat too. Im addicted to mason jar crafts. Hehe. Ive decorated, painted, glittered, etc at least 40,000 jars. Not kidding! LOL

Love your inspirational videos. I was so happy to see the jute string hanger for the mason jar . I have a large old glass fishing float my cousin brought back from Guam which needs a new “ jute net” and the jute hanger you showed for the mason jar looks very similar to the “ jute net” that was on my glass fishing float. Thank you.

I've heard you and others, say you're using "wax" on your projects. I'm not familiar with that product. What kind of wax is it & what is the purpose of applying it?

Hi! Wax is a waxy substance that is either clear or has a color like white, brown or black. It's often used to seal painted surfaces or to add texture like I did this one. Thank you so much for watching

Can you please stop down your cameras aperture, if it's a dslr? Your lighting is too bright. Half the time we cannot see the things youre making. Esp. if they are white. Thanks.
