I’ve used mine about 3-4 times. I have never had it last through the night without losing air. I am 5’9” 175lbs. When you wake up it’s folded up around you like a taco. I’m a side sleeper and was excited to hear there was a hammock style solution for side sleepers, as I needed a tent for river kayaking trips and a hammock tent would fit the bill perfectly. Maybe these tents are better designed now, but for as much as this tent costs, I will always regret having bought it. It simply doesn’t work that well. It might work for a while, but not through the night. Just my experience. I’ve talked to customer service, read about them on forums. “Overinflate the pad” they say, fine, did that, still loses air by morning. For $400+ I should have just bought something different.

Alot of people are commenting on his statement at the end of the video about it not being light but being comfy .. just wanted to chime in that its a really nice use of a sales tactic Ive heard people call it a "but" statement before. Place the negative feature first in a statement then add "but" then positive selling point. Our brains prioritize the last thing we hear in a sentence more than the beginning. So the positive ending outweighs the negative beginning. It also is a way to build trust since you highlight a flaw. It's a very effective way to sell with honesty of flaws while still building value. Another good one is "its expensive but the quality is unmatched"

Plus he protects his products image. If people come back and bash the weight in reviews because a hammock should be light, ppl can just point to the fact that the company noted this themselves and lightweight backpack camping wasn't the target market.
@BaldKiwi11714 күн бұрын
@@epicmonkeydrunk true but in reality weight is a non issue for anyone using this system. Nobody is backpacking with this

I like that it's hanging and off the ground for something that you can take. Obviously a hammock, but like an upgraded version. Super cool! Would love to take this on a camping trip 🫶

I would love to have one of those! I always get caught finding the tent sight that doesn’t quite fit the bill as far as comfortable goes. I try so many things to make it sleepable. Never is quite enough tho. I’m gonna check this out! It would be nice to just hook up to two trees and forego the full tent experience.

You don't honestly camp with your food in your tent do you? 😮 Bear can. It's kinda heavy but it will save your life. Plus you can use it as a camp chair, or a little table. Triangle of safety guys. Sleep, food storage and cooking should be as far apart as realistically possible in your campsite. The bearritos joke was funny but, seriously stay safe out there.
