Nice job Chris. My uncle and I went out two days in a row and did pretty well the first day but then went to the canyons and killed some very nice sized tiles. Also before that I caught my first bigeye ever at 16 years of age. Love the videos keep it up man.

Love watching your videos. I’ve watched all of them 3 times at least. We mainly run out of delaware and ocean city md. So i don’t know what the fishing is like up here except for watching your videos. I’ll be in barnigate for a week with the boat and I’m bringing out my nephews and cousins. If you have any advice on spots, techniques etc it would be greatly appreciated.

You looking for tuna fishing out of barnegat? Or just any type of fishing. Few reefs right out of the inlet, barnegat reef is about 3.5nm out of the inlet, then 2 to the south garden state north and south reefs. Can go for fluke or seabass there. Would reccomend the garden state reefs over barnegat reef

But down there this time of the year there are just some spots that typically hold tuna and i don’t know many of them and if they’re holding fish. Thanks for the info. I would be great to see how you dispatch and handle the tuna for the table. I see you spike them; but do you bleed them, hang them overboard? How do you handle your tuna to make them the best table fare possible?

Hey Scott, sorry for late response, yes we started spiking all our fish as to be humane as possible by shutting down brain, generally we plunge a knife 3-4 inches right behind pectoral fin which will get them bled well, lately though we’ve been cutting around gill plate and cutting around anal cavity to free up intestines and you can pull all the inners out . Works great
