Yes, a spectacular home and a nice video, but poorly edited. One example...at 3:48, our host says "that view is killer" and then... when expecting a shot of the view...cut to bathtub. Nope. Also...get rid of the one and two second shots. Give people time to focus and to VIEW the home! Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the tour and Beech Rise is a spectacular property. I just think a better quality production would do the property justice.

Is the interior decor going to be a big turn-off for buyers though? Given it is now under £9M then surely you could decorate it super high-end to your taste with £1M to play with. Fair enough if the floor-plan and layout is not suited as those are harder to fix. Also the garden in this house does not seem as big and nice as others in the same area which to be is the biggest negative. I saw the Caesers cottage one too and really liked the floorplan of that, though agreed the decor isn't great (but again could be easily fixed with the reduced price). Not sure it made sense as a rental property given the very small market of renters for this type of house!

I agree , the gardens were nice & the house looked ok from the outside but step inside & it’s a different story . the interior design is awful & the drawing room with its marshmallow furniture & weird wall art , gaudy chandelier was particularly vile . Also the bar & club room looked like a funeral parlour . A lot of the rooms looked long & narrow 2 . Not impressed .

Mmmm, and even more difficult to move these monstrosities now that the Russians and filthy laundered money are all being cracked down on. Most of the interior design and staging of these properties is so oppressive as well as managing to be bland at the same time, which is quite a feat. You're asked to pay top whack for very directional fixtures and fittings that you either love or hate- in which case you have to wince whilst ripping it all out and redoing it. Which to me, defeats the point of paying a high asking price for a new build. There's so many gorgeous ways to deliver a 'blank canvas'. These types of homes remind me of footballers homes crossed with upmarket Hungarian dental clinics or Medi-Spas in Dubai. Who the hell want to live in these anodyne, clinical wastelands?! Hideous. How do you decorate these yawning great caverns in a tasteful, elegant, intelligent way if bought and left as is? I'm glad you had the guts to say your piece here Wayne. The other mystery to me is Poxwell Manor in Dorset. It's been on the market almost continuously for over a decade. What the HELL could be wrong with it?!
