As someone who travels all over the country for work, a lot of these multi million dollar homes would make me feel like I'm back at a hotel. I feel like this house is definitely more warm than most of them.

It's just so weird to me how LA has so many 'nice' homes, yet no one with the money to be able to live in them. I don't get where they get the economic incentive to build homes for people without the means to buy them. Seems crazy.

That moss wall contains what’s known as “air moss”, a bunch of species of moss that extract all the water they need from the humidity in the air. Never seen it used on a wall before you showed the first one tho

As special as some of the bigger places are this feels so much more liveable, sensible room sizes, practical layout, much more homely. A huge success from the developers and at a price which seems vaguely sensible (albeit still totally beyond my budget)

I'm guessing the price of the property is so insane because of the location. Because just the house alone if we ignore where it is, I wouldn't pay more than maybe $3.5M. Here in Europe you can get a whole castle for $14M.

Some realtors in the US term mansions as houses that have a minimum of 8,000-square-foot of floor space, others claim a viable minimum could instead be 5,000-square-foot of floor space, especially in a city environment. As a general guideline, the approximate size of a mansion is 5,000 square feet. A mansion in NYC will be a lot smaller than a mansion in Beverly Hills. In Los Angeles, the standard for a mansion would be considered more around 20,000 square feet.

The moss on the wall reminds me of when I tinkered around with my trainset, I made a landscape out of papier-mâché and used this kind of moss as shrubs, so no water required I think. Btw its a nice house👍

This is the best house IMO that you have ever shown , all the others are beautiful and opulent , but if I won the lottery tomorrow I could never see myself living in one , they are just for show and status , THIS HOUSE actually feel like it could be a great home not so large that you need walkie-talkies to find any one in it , and with great outdoor spaces, I wish I played the lottery lol .

That moss is conserved. It‘s put in a liquid like formaldehyde, so it‘s not living anymore, but looks like real moss.

This place has already had a price reduction. It's $12.9m right now. Probably worth closer to the $10-11m mark. High end market is soft and is getting even softer.

I have an idea for this series of property tours, you get someone like Caroline to choose the property that you are going to tour, so Michael and Adam have no idea of the property before they arrive on the day, they haven't even seen a picture of it also the camera is rolling as they enter the gates of the property so we get a complete first impressions tour.

Moss takes water from the air humidity. Mosses absorb moisture and nutrients through their leaves. In other words, they drink rainwater and eat dust particles. Their entire sustenance is derived through this simple diet.

I love that house. Unfortunately, 14 millions $ is way too expansive for me. Although, it doesn't seem a lot compare to some houses you've shown us which were not as good as this one and a lot more expansive.

Nosrati always prices his homes at a more reasonable rate than most builders. Some builders price their homes 30-40 million higher than it will sell. This might sell a couple of a million lower.
