Would a holley ecu be able to do the same thing especially if you route it through a msd solid state relay module?

Did you encounter louder than normal humming from the pump when you reduced the duty cycles (quiet @ Max)?

I have a mangafuel pump ando buy this Aeromotive fuel pump controler and each year my fuel pump was damaged first time they told me in magnafuel that it was a battery descharged low batery and they send me a new one then again about a year so I call magnafuell and tell them all my fuel sistem because they ask me and the moment i told them that i had Aeromotive fuel controler told mee that was the reason of failure the first time and second and told me too get rid of it and problem solve

Is this the controller that is to be used with brushed style pumps?

This is a really stupid gimmick. You set your tune (once) on the dyno and its done. You wear the cost of any extra fuel use when putting out 800+ @ wheels. Being variable, this will only throw out the tune. You tune the car on the dyno via a rising rate fuel pressure regulator (FPR) which cost around $100US. Tune it once and you're good to go. Getting efficiency at low load/rpm comes down to two variables. The quality of the ECU being used and the quality and knowledge of the tune/tuner

I think you're missing the point of this device. The tune won't be effected because the relative fuel pressure will remain constant and therefore the fuel quantity per injection, unchanged. That's what the fuel pressure regulator is for. This is to slow the pump down to reduce fuel heating and wear on the pump at idle/low loads.

@@sootpig no. They are claiming it will not only do that but it will save you money when cruising or driving slow etc

Heating of fuel is nothing. It's not even a factor. Gas is cold by nature. The main heating it has is within the chamber when it's sprayed in at mist-level (which has a cooling effect anyway

@@Boostinpulsar My engine is just over 700 HP. Before I installed the fuel pump speed controller, if I had less than 10-12 gallons of gas in my tank, the fuel pump would get hot and quit after 30-40 miles. I have now put over 1800 miles on my car withe no issues (knock on wood!). The more times the fuel runs through the fuel system, the hotter it gets and in turn, causes the fuel pump to get hot. Heat is not good for any electric motor.
