For most of the last five years there has been a small oasis of colour and life amidst the destruction and grief of rebel-held Aleppo. It's the garden centre, which has supplied plants and blooms and foliage to people in that part of the city throughout the war.

In a sense the Gardener became like a flower, a beautiful essence that is unique and fills the world with joy and hope. Only a beautiful soul like that can turn the sounds of war to that of music. Those are the people that make a difference the silent heroes. May his son find peace and love.

This gardener carried a great wisdom. I hope his young son can find solace with remaining family and friends. My heart is weeping, sharing his pain. In grieving, a new connection with the essence of life and death can flower. I deeply and truly wish courage and strenght to this child, and to all who are suffering from war, especially in Aleppo.

I know war is never fair, but that one.. What a beautiful soul, the both of them. I hope there is someone who takes care of his son, and that the war comes to an end soon. I wish there was something I could do for him.. Something to give him hope.. Even just a hug, or a shoulder to cry on. But there is absolutely nothing I can do. No child should have to endure the pain and difficulty he faces, no one. Each and every one of them, should wake up with a smile on their pretty little faces. May he make it through

"Syrian regime"? Don't you mean the elected government of Syria? In case you hadn't noticed they are mired in a desperate war against head-chopping, heart-eating Takfiri insurgents, who're funded by the Saudi and Qatari regimes, armed by the US, and trained in Turkey. A bit of honest geopolitical context now and again would be a refreshing change, Ch.4. But I guess that would be too much to ask.

How can you watch something so emotionally powerful and 'pure' and come out with that comment? This is exactly the type of sociopathic nonsense which perpetuates these wars, which are often over nothing to begin with. Good grief, out of all that, your contribution is pedantry. Let's ignore the humanitarian crisis and make sure semantics are sorted out first... You're no doubt one of the cretins who gave this piece a thumbs down, because it doesn't fit your agenda.

Ibrahim, his mother, and brothers and sisters have been found by Alaa (Mohammad Alaa Aljaleel) - our Aleppo ambulance driver friend! Here is the story of Alaa: syriadirect.org/news/a-crowd-sourced-animal-sanctuary-in-east-aleppo-teaches-compassion-%E2%80%98to-love-the-small-weak-cats-is-to-love-everything%E2%80%99 All the trees and shrubs for the cat sanctuary and the children's playground next door to the sanctuary were purchased (via a donation from one of the members of our group) from Abu Ward at his garden center before he died. Here is the message we received today from Alessandra Albidin who was from Lebanon but now lives in Italy. She is the founder of our group Il gattaro D'Aleppo facebook.com/groups/1509943749305018 Alessandra Abidin August 30 at 12:00pm "we found him !! He Is Ibrahim the famous baby in the video, the son of the last flower shop in Aleppo, he has all these brothers to maintain, and the girl with the green dress is severely disabled .. now I have the security that helps him arrive. Who want To help Ibrahim. In The First comment you find The video" Here is a picture of Ibrahim and his brothers and sisters (his mother is in mourning and choose not to be photographed). - Maria has posted the pictures. Please scroll down to see Ibrahim and his family. Alaa is happy to give to Ibrahim and his family whatever donations anyone wants to make to him and maybe one day reopen the garden center (which, after you join our group you can see in the video with Alaa and Ibrahim). So, if you still want to help this child and his family you will: 1. Need to join our Facebook group - Il gattero D'aleppo - facebook.com/groups/1509943749305018 2. To protect Alaa and keep away trolls it is a closed group so you will have to ask to join the group. Alessandra normally will admit you within 24 hours. If she is on one of her regular trips to Serbia or Turkey to deliver supplies to refugee camps it might take a little longer. 3. Once you are a member please read the FAQ's pinned at the top of the page (they are in several languages) which will explain much. 4. There are various ways to donate, including PayPal. You will need to private message Alessandra on Facebook to receive the PayPal information. 5. When you make a donation, particularly on PayPal, NEVER use the words Syria, Aleppo or anything similar because PayPal flags all those words as possibly being donations to terrorists. If you want to send money to Ibrahim just put his name in the comment area. You can also message Alessandra with special information on donations as did our member who donated the trees. 6. If you use PayPal for your donation click on "Send Money to Friends/Family" and NOT paying for an item. 7. If you have any questions just post to the group or send a private message to Alessandra. 8. In the group there is absolutely no discussion of politics or religion, which to me is quite a relief. Donations to Alaa are completely transparent. Alessandra will list names along with donations. She will show a picture of the total donations being sent the charity that Alaa works for. Alaa will acknowledge the donations and you will then see videos or pictures sent by Alaa showing him giving your donation to the person you designate. I joined the group (that's what we call ourselves) in December of 2015 and I had serious doubts because I am not a trusting person. At first I made a very small donation of 5 Euros just to see what happened. When I saw how transparent it is I started making monthly donations. At that time there were around 900 members and now we have over 4500 members from all around the world, including the UK, France, Spain, Italy, South Korea, China, U.S., Netherlands, South Africa, South America, Greece, Israel, and Russia. I'm certain I have left out many locations of our members. So this is a method you can use to help Ibrahim if you choose. His dream is to someday reopen the Garden Center but now their biggest need is food and clothing. Food and clothing can be purchased on the black market but the costs are very high. I know how difficult it is to trust that this is not some sort of scam but I promise you it is not and, as far as I know, it is the only way right now to get assistance through to Ibrahim and his family. Please message me if you have questions. Thank you for caring for this boy (he is considered a man now and the sole support of his family) and for wanting to help. Maria also posted all of this information if you scroll down you can see the pictures and links.

Do you know how to get this information to Channel 4 news? I have messaged them but have not heard back from them. Alaa will be delivering to Ibrahim's family on Wednesday a small amount of food and donated funds. As you know the city is under siege and it took him all day to find food for them. We have more funds going to them soon and hopefully there will still be food for Alaa to purchase for them. Many people in Aleppo are very hungry and close to starvation. Alaa will do his best to take care of this family and as many other's as he can. I hope you consider, hfshzhr89, joining our group so you can see how it works. Thank you! :)

Beautiful scenario; touched script; romantic music in the background... all to polish the image of the so-called rebels, who are fighting the "boogiemen" Assad & Putin! Indeed, the Propaganda of the mainstream media (MSM) is limitless! This father who appears in the clip as an amazing man, how much blood is on his hands? How many heads he did chop? How many buildings he did blow up? The British Fox news (Ch.4 News) didn't show. Instead, they made him talk about Beethoven's classic music! Does anyone have a shred of intelligence believes that those terrorists know what music in the first place? Music is prohibited in their law, and in fact some of the militias of those terrorists in 2011 fought with each other and killed and injured each other because one group dared to listen to local music! But the Ch.4 News showing them that they listen to Beethoven ! Because this report is prepared for Europeans audience, they had to make it suits their viewers' general taste. Talking about flowers and music, what a great rebels they are now! Even if the "zombies" on the ground who are fighting and killing innocent people knows nothing about all these issues. This report is to fool the western audience to sympathise with the terrorists. This is just as making a report with Osama Bin Laden and his kid talking about flowers and music! Didn't they show them as heroes and "Freedom Fighters" against the evil infidel Soviets back in the late 70's and early 80's? Then when they reached their goal, they labeled them terrorists! They were terrorists from the beginning! That is what's happening now in Syria. History is repeating itself. Every 30-40 years we'll have the recycle of old lies spoiling our minds through the media, that lead us to believe whatever they want us to believe. The kid gave up school - the report said - to stay close to his dad! WOW! My heart would break if I didn't hear the rebels from their first days of the crisis asking the people not to send their children to the "Infidel Schools" and that all that they want is to learn their kids the Qur'an! That's why there are no schools anymore in their areas, and that's why this kid is not going to school anymore! Keep lying, Ch.4 News. Keep lying because you are funded to do so.

First of all arabs and muslims listen to music all the time and it is deep rooted within their culture it isn't against any law. Secondly how is this man a terrorist? Because he lives in Aleppo? First of all Aleppo isn't under control of ISIS or Al Nusra so the people fighting the regime are various rebel groups with different motives. Majority of the people in Aleppo are people who live there and have so for many years. Also the kid isn't going to school because they are being bombed for being under control of the rebel army. Don't be an idiot.

guys, believe whatever you like to believe. In 2003, when the US and UK invaded Iraq, some of my Iraqi friends by the time told me that most of the news coming on mainstream media about Iraq are false and untrue. By the time, I was an idiot and didn't believe them. I argued with them the way you are arguing with me now. When meeting people from Vietnam, Yugoslavia, and many of Latin America that witnessed crisis and wars, and tell them what I mentioned above; they already say to me: "Welcome to the club! Deja vu! It happened to us in the past and no one believed us when the media was lying and fabricating news, photos, and video clips"!. If it didn't happen to you or didn't take place in your country yet, that doesn't mean such things don't happen to others somewhere else. Instead of calling me names, go and search for the truth yourselves, and don't depend on fast-news packages from here and there. Learn to question what is given to you as the only sole fact. If the whole world and media, books and movies, said that Santa Claus is a real figure, and one tiny voice said that it's a mythical one, are you going to believe the majority media? So far, it seems so, unfortunately.

am231euy Your response has nothing to do what you said above. You assume the worst in this man because he lives in a country that is in the midst of war. Who is the one who is brainwashed again? You say "The media says it so it must be false" even though you got all of your ideology from speculation. You know that the footage in this video is from a documentary from someone who is inside Syria right? It isn't owned by 4 News they are just using it to tell this man's story.

G-d loves you and sent His Son, Yahu'shua (Jesus Christ), to die on the cross for your sins. The holy blood of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) made you whole, new, and forgave you of your sins. My neighbor, please accept Yahu'shua as your Lord and Saviour. Time is running out and the Jewish Messiah is coming back to earth as the, "Lion of Judah"!!! Selah.

GTF with this fairy tale bullshit. God loves you except when he gives cancer to those newborns ? Yeah. There is no fucking GOD. Humans are running this town and as we have just gotten of the trees our dumb nature engraved in our DNA makes us vulnerable to violence and irrationality so we kill.. We kill each other for nothing.
