I really wish more of the camp was preserved. The Polish government really shouldn't let this place go, it should serve as a reminder to the rest of the world.

It’s hard to believe something so horrible happened. Those poor people....

What amazes me the most is how these monsters can go home at the end of the day to a wife and family as though they were returning from an honest day's work. They had to be satanically possessed.

Thank you for sharing this story. I will never understand how the Nazi's could be so cold and heartless to innocent people and children. I can not even imagine the fear that they endured.

Abhorrent simply abhorrent what happened both here, across many sites in Poland and across many countries in Europe during WW2 how can humans be so cruel to one another. We need to learn from this terrible scar on humankind and keep learning even now. RIP to the many many victims of these horrific crimes in humbled by your bravery till the end ❤️

This was incredible. I have seen a lot of pictures and videos of Auschwitz before. However none of them captured the enormous size of this place like your video does. I wish the video was longer than 10 minutes. Do you have plans to go back in the future and make a longer video? This really is incredible. I watched on my Oculus.

Who Else Took A Deep Breath Before This One

I can't see why this would have dislikes... Hopefully people not realizing this is a 360 video and thinking that the camera angles are bad.

I just cannot imagine how the rest of the world turned a blind eye to this while it was happening. This is absolutely horrific and exposes how evils human can be. We were not born like this

This gave me goosebumps. It is horrifying to imagine what the Germans did to those people. I just booked my tickets to Auschwitz for next week to have a look myself of this truly terrible place. We should never forget what happened there to prevent future generations committing those crimes yet again.

Heartbreaking

Absolutely gut wrenching, heartbreaking and mind numbing that something like this could go on for so many years without any intervention from other countries. Shame on the rest of the world for standing around and watching for so many years. #neverforget Thankfully today we have so much technology and social media and bad news spreads very fast so anything like this would end before it could ever get started. Prayers and love for anyone who had to go through this or knew of someone that did.

Flying above and seeing the scale is eye opening to be sure. The site should be forever owned by all those that died there and in all the other camps.

I've been born and raised in Poland. Have live abroad for 14 years now. I have never been to Auschwitz. I read a book called The Medallions when I was 14. A Polish journalist wrote it just after the camp was liberated. I do want to go but I think I would make such an impact I'm not sure I could cope with.

One of my friends in NZ found out at 48 years old that he was adopted. That was shock enough. Then he found out his true ancestors were Jewish Germans who all died in Auschwitz. He went there to visit twice and he said it was traumatic. He said you could feel the death everywhere and that there were no birds.........

I was bought up in a prison community. The prison psychologist was an inmate of Buna prison in Poland.

The scratch marks on the concrete walls in the gas chamber is just insane, when I first read about it in a book years ago that really stuck with me, in my mind. 🙁

What makes it even more disturbing is hearing the wind move the souls of damned across the rusted gates

I started to cry within the first five seconds itself. The horrors, inhumanity, fear, madness, brutality, and the evilness of everyday life that millions of innocent Jews had to face at the hands of these inhumane and brutal murderers are simply unimaginable. No one ever could have thought before Auschwitz that humans would stoop to such extreme levels just to kill other humans. Getting up at 4 am, standing in the cold without clothes until 4 pm and then running without clothes in ice cold chillness on snow is horrifying to even think of. I can't even imagine how desperately many innocent Jews would have screamed, cried, and clawed at the gas chamber walls while being exposed to sarin gas . I can't even think of how those murderers could go back to their families at the end of the day, and eat and sleep peacefully as if they were doing some noble job. I am even more shocked that literally the rest of the world was just sitting back and watching doing nothing like Auschwitz was some type of comedy show. My sincere condolences go out to all the families who lost their loved ones in Auschwitz and my sincere prayers go to all the innocent Jews who lost their lives in Auschwitz. Rest In Peace.

ich bin fast 40 und ich hab wirklich viel über den zweiten weltkrieg gesehen und gehört... aber diese massen toilette bei 8:12 hat mich wirklich geschockt... hab noch nie was aus der zeit gesehen was so deutlich gemacht hat wie unmenschlich das alles war ohne blut oder gewalt!

The personal pain and sorrow I feel for these people, yes PEOPLE, were treated like objects. Dogs lived better. So overwhelming sometimes to think that other 'humans?' would do this to fellow human beings is .............

The saddest lesson I take from this atrocity is how ANY human mind can be conditioned to accept and become an agent of chaos and wickedness. Do not make the mistake of thinking you couldn't be. Question everything. especially your own desire for power or recognition, and those you believe to be bold and charismatic leaders.

When I first saw the first scene from the inside during winter near the tree I felt like I was there in a previous life. It all felt like I knew the place inside out. And even when I looked now, i felt a deja vu.

I sometimes get tortured myself when I think of this horror my mother went thru Hitler's germany as a small child. I think she never. Being pregnant, I cannot beging to imagine how deep the pain and anguish of having to be in this camp and giving birth there. The conscience of the Nazis were probably non existent. How could they do such a thing!!!

Deeply saddened. I still remember. Albert peirpoint hanged the women. Named the best of bel son. So sad.
