Penn kept sportsbook which they flipped into a 1.5 billion dollar deal with ESPN, barstool can never get into betting again and dave owes 50% of any barstool sales for the rest of time to Penn which arguably extends to any other venture which means 50% of profit he makes on anything for the rest of his life... The headline here is Penn gutted Barstool for way more than they paid, and now owns 50% of Dave.... I really think we’ll see a big turnaround for barstool now that prez is back at the helm. People were getting too comfortable at the New York office since Dave stepped away. Dave knows what good content is and what made barstool popular to begin with. I hope we will start seeing more 2013-2017 barstool now that he’s back

No idea who Nate even is but he’s exactly right about the future status/relevance of the NY office: it’s going to be an afterthought, or at best a side show. CHI office will start with newness hype, and Dan’s leadership and vast array of big talent will sustain the spotlight. All that will not only dwarf NY, but uninspiring leadership and complete lack of compelling talent will further widen the gap of national relevance between the two offices

I think what needs to be heard is at the 16:04 mark. Dave wants Barstool to be putting out the best content on the internet. Ever since Pen was involved that was just never the case. There were some good times but nothing was as good as when Dave had full control.
