Sprained paw? Broken wing? Tiggywinkles will get you back to roaring health. With over 10,000 animals coming through the door each year, Tiggywinkles wildlife hospital is the busiest (and cutest) in all of Europe. Named after the beloved Beatrix Potter children’s book character, the hospital employs around-the-clock doctors and nurses who treat injured and sick wild animals. At Tiggywinkles, no creature is too big or too small-each is given loving care until they are strong enough to be released back into the wild.

I live on Cape Cod (MA) and we're lucky enough to have two wildlife hospital/rehab centers here. They all do awesome things for our wildlife.

Lovely visitor centre for everyone to visit. One of the wonders of the world. Pity it is a 2 hour round trip for me, but I do love taking my Grandchildren there.

Amazing video. ^_^ PLEASE do a spotlight on Wildlife Aid! They have a channel on KZfaq and do incredible work saving animals in the UK... This kind of work is so unfunded and should be spoken about more. Save the animals!

Respectfully disagree. Everyone get to choose what, who and how they do rescue. They never even asked for money. I used to rescue and re-home different animals, most specifically kitties. I can bring a kitty home safely, not so with humans. I do agree that it's sad that not every person get rescued, but that's the way it is. If this animal rescue closed tommorrow it would NOT result in a human being helped. We just all need to be kind and help wherever and whenever we can. Think about how many lives you have saved....hopefully at least one. ❤

You can donate and declare gift aid which means the charities receives an extra 25p per £1 you donate. Basically If you pay tax on your income charities can claim back some of it for themselves with your permission.
