I lived with a drag queen when I was a little girl. She was friends with our family, as a man, handsome and gorgeous. As a woman, well- six ft three, very feminine fifties negligees. She taught me to dress like a lady, how to apply makeup and not look like a teenaged tart. She had class and style. When I accidentally cut myself, it wasn't my moms door I knocked on. It was hers. She cursed me out for waking her up then saw me, yanked me in the door and helped me. Sent me off to school scolding me. I don't see drag queens as weird, or a certain type or gender or sexuality. They are people like you. They love, they have pain and hardship and triumph. They deserve rights.

Yup......i also liked the way no one stared at her. I grew up in London and now live in the Midlands and it's WAY better up here for the LBGT+ community. London is NOT as accepting as you think.

I remember not long after i started at McDonalds (i was about 17, im old) and i was at the counter and this man came in (not sure if a drag, or trans, or whatever so apologies for just saying man) in a blue dress, blonde wig, and heels (insert jealous sigh here because i suck at wearing heels) and got some food and a couple of my coworkers started giggling and whispering. I honestly dont think i have ever shot anyone the nastiest, meanest look so fast in my life like let people wear whatever the EFF they want and shut up 🙄

Maybe because she uses a light purple. It's not a really saturated and bright color which makes it look more natural ahah. Plus she applies makeup over the color giving it more life. (sorry if this are the wrong pronouns, I'm going with what I've seen everyone call them)
