It was very widely known that Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth were not great friends on set. They have both done interviews about it. You can actually see it in their on-screen chemistry... their is none. Also, at the time, Jennifer was with someone but had not made it public and Miley could never live up to Liam’s lofty ways and his arrogance about himself. He was also jealous that the guy who played Peeta had the better role. Yes, Miley had issues but was trying to work through them and he was just not very supportive. But there is no way that Jennifer would have ever had an affair with him because after finishing the last movie, she actually said she was told to say she had a crush ect. She said she hated the kissing scenes with him.

The only thing that can destroy them is if anyone found out that they had ever commited any wrong doings no matter how small. That's why Gaslighting people into thinking they are a wholesome Do gooder is what they are the very best at doing.
