While the ‘Emily in Paris’ star already boasted a rock and roll legend for a dad, Phil Collins, her famous family expanded upon marrying Charlie McDowell in Sept. 2021. The director’s parents are critically acclaimed actors Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell. Plus, Charlie’s stepdad -- and now Lily’s -- is none other than TV icon Ted Danson!

I’ve had the biggest crush on her back when I was 15. I was shocked finding out Phil Collins was her father and he’s been one of my favorite musicians for a long time. She’s a real great person!

I feel bad for her mom. They boast about how great her dad and in-laws are because they are all celebrities but the person who raised her gets no credit. Same way Vivian Carter was treated.

Lily knows how great her Mom is. That's what's important. Lily wrote a short book about how her Dad's choices. The people that really matter know who was there for her and who raised her right.

@@15Candles The scene in which her mother is holding her in her lap feeding her the bottle while softly singing, 'Hush Little Baby' lullaby had me sobbing & sobbing - one of the most poignant scenes I've ever seen in a movie. I was glad to see Keanu Reeves in that movie, too.

I absolutely love seeing celebrity children grow up and become celebrity’s themselves. The bonus is she’s getting married to a man who also comes from famous parents. I’m so happy for both of them.😀😁

So whats wrong with that? Success breeds success. My dad was and still is a welfare bum. He always told me and my siblings to quit going to school and work. I wanted better and did better, and hopefully that opens doors for my kids. Most of my siblings are lazy, and unmotivated like him.

I think people missed the point, there is a lot of nepotism in the world and for some, the only reason they get to do what they do is bc of their connections while others with equal or more talent are rejected

Emily In Paris is a very delicious show. Great Acting and very smart screenplay. Plus great cinematography. No idea who she is before i saw the Netflix show. Phil Collins is such a great musician.

Allegedly the Collins clan are one of the richest and most powerful in the world, and are Royalty. I cannot find the story and photo about it, and I am sure they had the power to get it off of the world wide web!!! The story I read was so bad, I don't want to repeat it. They are worse than Alester Crowley!!! Hopefully Phil and his children don't live like that!

When ppl ask me what my ideal woman is, I respond with Lily Collins. She’s so beautiful and adorable that one can literally look at her forever and be perfectly content in the process. She looks good both naturally and all dressed up plus Immaculate genes and bloodlines 👌🏼 Charlie tho srsly?! He reminds me of the teenage Chris Owen from American pie. She looks happy tho regardless so....
