To covert UK waist size to Fjallraven just add 16, so a 36 would convert to a 52. 32 leg would be a regular leg. Thanks for watching. Paul.

@@trekitt I wear 31 in most pants and jeans. 31 plus 16 equals 47. but it has available only 46 or 48. Which size should I get? Also the hook is it annoying or not? Because I do not want to use it often. I hope it does not create discomfort if not using it on boots laces. I subscribe to you now!

@@achillesdanieladam9486 Get the larger size and pop on a belt if they're a little too loose. The hook is tucked away inside its own little pocket when not in use, so you shouldn't notice it.

@@trekitt I managed to find a store that sells them! 46 was too small so your advice was wise! I go for the 48 with a belt!

These trousers (from experience) don't stretch at all, they stay pretty true to size throughout their life. The trousers do include belt loops, so you can always purchase the size up and tighten the waist accordingly. The width of the leg doesn't increase much when you size up, however the leg length will ever so slightly. As another option to consider, Fjallraven do make the Keb Trouser which is essentially the same fit, size and look, but with stretch panels around the waist, back of the knees and in high mobility areas; this would allow you to purchase the 'snug size' as the waist will stretch.

I had the same issue. I decided to go a size down and lose some weight as the fit is much better.

@@FABM27 I went a size up and I’m trying to gain some weight. Unfortunately loosing weight would not be a good thing for me. Enjoy the pants. :)

@@1ReneDumont i changed my mind and returned them for a size up as I am more likely to gain weight than lose weight. But I have been exercising regularly so now losing weight they slightly relaxed. Wish they had a middle size 49

Nope, definitely not waterproof. They were originally designed for Scandinavian conditions (snow) which they cope with really well, but in our wet/humid climate they won't keep your legs dry. Harry
