Love the videos. Just started following you, but I've been watching Dean and Corey from Co-Ops forever. I gave up fish keeping 2018 after my dad passed since we both loved our fish, but now my little girl loves fish keeping, so she's slowly gotten me back into the hobby. I started whipping out all my stuff that I boxed away in the garage and beginning to set up my tanks again.

Oh man I’m seriously so glad he told the three P’s. I’m on the verge of feeling like a total failure. I feel like I have more failures than I do successes. It’s really hard sometimes. However since I’m somewhat new it helps to be reminded that even master fish breeders sometimes loose fish. Thanks for sharing all that you do! It really does help!

Nick, this is an Awesome video with Master Dean!!!!! I just received the Bug Buffet I ordered and quickly fed ALL my fish and OMG they LOVED IT!!! Tore right into the food like they hadn't eaten in weeks!!! Now I have to see how fat they get and how quickly they spawn!!! Thank you for keeping it Simple and totally Awesome!!!

Its insane how price of fish varies frome area to area the honeycombs in scotland sell for £5 per large fry i have about 20 now

I'd also like to breed angel fish but don't know boys from girls and want to do Cory cats, and small cichlids like acaras, rams and apstos. I have Like 4 tanks but they are not productive and I'm dissatisfied with my stock and set up I got one empty then Like a few tetras and albino Cory's and two dojo loaches in my 55 and a long fin danio 2 panda Cory's and 2 albino and maybe 1- 3 kuli loaches don't know only ever see one In my 20 gallon I tried guppies and they don't work well. Plus I have a empty 10 gallon, plus 2 5 gallon tanks for grow out. I want to get back Into the hobby. I've been out for about a year because of anxiety and depression issues. I finally figured out my hobby helps my issues but I hate losing fish and I have to use spring water from the store because my tap has less minerals than spring plus chlorine. I have every supplement and test kit in the books. I would just love a Lil help. I have a ten gallon that belongs to my dad with two neon tetras and a albino Cory . They have fungus I'm treating with maricin and going to do a massive water chance and Remove all the Decor tomorrow. I've watched videos and tried but only the 55 is thriving. I can't even grow plants I really need some tips and help I.m pretty much going to start each over but the 55 that I'm giving a good cleaning. I'm tired of losing my babies. I love every single fish I own they have names and everything. If they pass away they get a proper burial. I just want to be successful so I can enjoy my babies

In my experience, those floating plants aren’t thriving because the tanks have lids. This causes too much moisture in the air for the floaters and they melt. Floating plants do not like for their leaves to be wet.

Could you please next time make a separate video, while you're there, about the mechanical things? Water circulation, tank connectivity, etc? MATTEN FILTER HACK: Pick up a used clothes washer (top-loaders are best) and use it as a dedicated washer to clean a bunch of sponges whenever necessary.

As someone who makes a powder food for fry, shrimpletts, and my small Medaka..... I'm not sure why I didn't think of the paintbrush..... the tiny scoops were too much so I always just pinched and spread it...... I need a paintbrush.

You aren't kidding about fish biting. I have a mated pair of clowns in my 300 gallon acro tank and every time I stick my hand into the tank they both dart at my fingers and bite.lol
