Oprah Winfrey is mourning the loss of her mother who passed away on Thanksgiving. Vernita Lee, 83, died at her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. No details of her cause of death have been released. Oprah's niece made the announcement on Facebook: “I lost my beautiful grandma on Thanksgiving.” A family spokesperson said the funeral had already taken place and was strictly private. Vernita gave birth to the future TV legend in Mississippi as a teen. #InsideEdition

I’m sorry Oprah lost her mother especially on Thanksgiving Day. And I’m also sorry that she lost her brother and one of her sisters too. But she still has a sister living now and they share a strong loving bond between them. A priceless gift 🙏

God blessed me and I receive His favor daily; so how can I be a bitter person?" Oprah sadly is a window dressing Christian and is not deceiving God.
